We had recently had a flood in our basement and after getting a French drain installed we called around to get someone to do the repairs. We needed the bottom 2 feet of drywall, flooring, trim, insulation and some framing and electrical. After calling around to a few places, some who wouldn't return our calls, some wouldn't be able to get to us for another 6 months and some wouldn't do the work at all we found Phoenix General Contracting and gave them a call.
They got back to us a couple of days later and we set up a time for a quote. The following week they came and took measurements of our basement and we let them know what we needed done. Our very detailed quote was emailed to us in a few days which was broken down into all of the jobs that the project was comprised of and their associated costs with labour and material costs shown.
We decided to go ahead with the work and they were able to start the following week! They gave us an estimated time of 2 weeks to complete the work. They were flexible during the repairs when there was something we wanted to change. They were on time every single day as well as the time to complete the project. They were considerate of our tenants upstairs and sealed off the basement to prevent dust from going upstairs.
Overall the work was very well done, we actually think our basement looks even better than it did before. They made the whole project very smooth and stress free for us and our tenants. They also take payment through e-transfer which is nice. I would highly recommend them to anyone. We might actually call them to do a fence soon!
