My wife, Danielle, and I were on the market for a professional renovation of our home's master bathroom. We chose Rob Porter for the job and were extremely fortunate to have done so.

We found Rob to be very knowledgeable about the type of work required for our renovation. He did not hesitate to make suggestions regarding the work and the various materials and methods he could use to meet our requirements.

At all times during the renovation we felt comfortable with Rob's progress and the recommendations he offered were not only helpful but often represented options we had not foreseen in our initial planning.

Any promises Rob made concerning the timing of the various jobs were spot on and resulted in our quickly developing a strong sense of trust in his work.

We are already considering using Rob to complete future work we may plan for our home. We would not hesitate to recommend Rob to our friends and relatives should they be planning renovations.

We bought an older home that needed love. Rob wrote to us through this site after we put our project up. He left a really good impression on us. He was an excellent listener to what our vision was and got exactly the style we were looking for. He is a hard worker and does not cut corners. He is professional. He will make recommendations if he thinks of things that would make something look even better,. On top of it all, this was a local company. What more could we want. We hit a few snags, (asbestos in the walls, a patio door that would not fit up the stairs) and each time, Rob came up with a solution so that things could keep going. He redid our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. I love everything he did, the kitchen is so efficient now. Thank you Rob for all you hard work.

Rob came into our home and we were immediately at ease with him. He is personable, professional and really tuned into listening to the customer and producing results that fit their needs. Our kitchen was a total reno, including demo of the existing kitchen and the installation of new ceramic tiles. I gave him carte blanche on determining the pattern of the tile and he did not disappoint! He also installed my ceramic backsplash, ceramic for my pot rack wall and ceramic on my family room fireplace. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention his assistant Meaghan whose talents also produced amazing results. If you are looking for a MacGyver type company to meet your renovation needs, you will find it in Rob.

From top to bottom, this company is pure class. Rob makes every effort to make your visions reality. I had a complete basement reno completed by Rob and Meghan at Porter built and to say that we were satisfied is an undertstatement. His communication with clients gives the personal touch you expect from a local business. He gos above and beyond expectations to realize your vision and offers his own input to make them even better.

During their time working on our basement, Rob an Meghan felt more like close friends than just a contractor. Their finishing work is excellent and i'm convinced there is nothing they can't do.

With Porter Built, you will find extremely fair prices for the pinnacle of quality. Rob goes out of his way to try and lower the cost to the client by supplying his own materials rather than a sub-contractors that he knows would be inflated.

I won't research another contractor again. If I need anything done in the future, i'm calling Porter Built.

We hired Rob to complete two bathroom renovations and have been extremely happy with his work. His attention to detail is amazing and he is great about cleaning up every day so we didn’t have to live in a mess during the renos. We will definitely have him back for further renovations - the list is already started!

Rob turned my empty unfinished basement into a beautiful living space. He installed a bathroom from scratch. Installed a ceiling. New lighting. Painted and so much more. He’s an amazing contractor and very professional. I would recommend him 100%. Thank you again Rob.

Rob renovated my entire basement after we had a flood. I couldn’t be happier with the work he has completed. He was very professional. He has great attention to detail. My old basement had a lot of surprises in the walls and Rob was able to make everything right again! 9 months after the job was completed, one of the thermostats for the basement was defective and he was over at my house a few hours after I called him to replace it! I just can't say enough about Rob. His professionalism,great work ethics, and skills are beyond words. Very accommodating and went well beyond the scope of the agreed upon work. We were getting our house ready for sale and he was happy to help us out.He added in some little details we didn't expect.
