Mr.Stefan Koester initially performed small jobs for me, like tiling and home repairs, all were completed efficiently displaying craftsmanship.

The quality of the small jobs convinced me to hire S&B to renovate my basement.

Mr Koester is knowledgeable in all aspects of construction, whether it be foundation, building structure, electrical, plumbing, flooring, specializing in tiling( bathrooms and kitchens) painting, finishing, installation of cupboards etc.

He is familiar with all building products and his advice is always cost considerate and he supplies a detailed quotation before work proceeds.

My basement renovation proceeded efficiently with no delays and quality was excellent.

We were in need of a bathroom renovation to provide a proper shower for our disabled mother. We met with several contractors and knew from the moment we met with Stefan that he was someone we could work with as he REALLY listened to what we were wanting and how much we had to spend. Stefan was able to figure out how we could do this ‘special’ shower in the limited space we had and never once did he try to talk us into anything more than what we actually needed. The result was a FANTASTIC shower unit that was done professionally and well within our budget. Stefan is PROFESSIONAL, TRUSTWORTHY and RELIABLE; we never once had any concerns with him or his work. Stefan's transformation of our bathroom was nothing short of FANTASTIC! From the cleanliness and care that was taken in the demolition of the old bathroom to the finishing touches and attention to detail on the new bathroom ... we couldn't be happier with Stefan's work. We were so happy with S& B Renovations. They did an excellent job,they clean up every day. So much so that you don't know anyone is working in your home. We have two dogs that loved seeing them everyday.

During the summer of 2015 we were looking to renovate our existing main floor bathroom and build a new bathroom and laundry room in the basement of our 40 year old home. The process began with meeting a half dozen contractors to discuss our plans and prepare estimates for both cost and timelines. We chose S & B RENOVATIONS because:

1) during our initial meeting, Stefan was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with creative suggestions for our projects;

2) their estimate for both cost and time was very reasonable;

3) they are licensed, insured, local and have excellent references;

4) the estimate was broken down allowing us to add or delete items in areas of our choice;

I will truthfully admit that I am a very picky customer, but Stefan and Birgit went above and beyond my expectations. These are absolutely wonderful and genuine people. Their attention to detail is impressive in every aspect of the renovation. What I valued the most about this pair is that they were always open, honest and upfront about timelines, expectations, quotes, etc. Unlike many contractors that take on far too many projects at once, which always leaves their customers disappointed and results in them not showing up on expected timelines and going far over budget on both time and materials, these two take on your project and work on it until completion. There's no leaving your house in chaos and limbo for two days while they work somewhere else.
