Hi John, I want to thank you again for the opportunity in working together, however It s unfortunate how things ended. Based on our contract, I completed all of the tasks that were part of the agreement. As promised, I fixed the deficiencies that were left at the end several times that we had gone back and forth about. When you noticed the good job that was done, you then wanted to add on additional work to the job scope in which you did not sign and agree for as per the new quote I sent, however I began the additional work without agreement and payment regardless. Once I completed the original scope of work, we had our final job completion walk through in which you inspected and were satisfied with. This is why you made the final payment. That being said, you later called me back because you wanted me to redo all of the original work I have done because you noticed something was not even with the ceiling - I was called to patch over an issue you had created from the beginning. As you are a professional contractor like myself, I was under the assumption that you were well-aware that there was no way of getting the ceiling perfectly even without you taking down the drywall and doing it properly from the start.

I have no issues returning to correct any minor deficiencies in my work as I have already done so multiple times on your project - but requesting me to return to redo everything now that I have just completed is unprofessional and unfair.

I should have done a better job explaining the expectations for what you had my try to fix.I stand by my work and by my word and don t appreciate you slandering my business.
