Springwater Cabinets

Greg Dejardine was hired by us in June of 2015 to renovate and build us a custom kitchen. We advised him of our budget and on top of what we wanted he suggested several extras such as frosted cabinet doors, lights in the cupboards, soft close hinges and a magic corner space saver, and all the while assuring us it was within our budget and the price he quoted us. He was quick to bring us a sample door that we loved , so we shook on it and he promised to complete our kitchen by end of July 2015. The price included a new counter top for the kitchen area and for our island, as well as new cupboards under our island and a new bulk head above with new lighting. He requested 1/2 up front for materials which seemed fair to us. After two months and excuses about the delay he told us his compressor broke and he needed a new one to spray our doors, so he asked for another $1000 and we obliged. Then a few weeks later he needed more money for the hardware and hinges, again we obliged. We were foolish but he was the husband of an old friend and we were far to trusting. As time went on he promised completion by labour day, that failed, then another promised date of Christmas eve of all days and that failed. On December 29th he left a garbage bag with scabs of remaining material in the back of our truck and told us to finish it ourselves. He did not install the island, the bulk head, the magic corner or the soft close hinges as promised. He is a fraud and has done his to many other people.
