Sept.16/2016 - Stark’s came to fix my furnace for which they charged me $223.13 - Service Tech was Brem
Sept.28/2016 - The same problem furnace still is not working.
Sept.29/2016 – Called Stark’s and told them my furnace is still not working.
Stark’s reply was that they might be able to get out here in the next couple of weeks.
Meanwhile my furnace is leaking water and the basement is starting to flood.
Oct.12/2016 – They finally send someone out to fix the original problem. Service Tech was Tyler
It was okay for awhile but it started leaking again, same problem had not been fixed properly.
Basement was flooding, I started propping a five gallon under were it was leaking and carried the pail upstairs and outside to dump the water. I had to this because the water in the basement had nowhere to drain. I should have had to do this had Stark’s fix the problem the second time the y came out to fix it.
This solution was okay for awhile but it kept getting worse and worse and I could not keep up with empting the pails of water. It got to point where I was empting 4 Five gallon pails a day and a lot was over flowing and the basement was flood and reeking very badly.
In the mean time I was calling Stark’s and telling them what was happening and there answer always was next time we are out there which will probably not be for a couple of weeks They did not seem to care and had a nonchalant attitude
We’ll get there, when we get there.
The person who answers the phone in service Melissa does not seem to be the right person for that position.
Feb.17/2017 – Finally they are getting someone out here to fix the original problem. Service Tech Jason
The very next day I go down into the basement to check and it’s still leaking and with the fix Jason had done I now cannot prop a pail under the leak to catch the water and so my basement is literally flooding. I called Stark’s on call tech on Saturday and left a message saying what was happening. My call was not returned.
So for all this they charged me $1262.64 and I’m still with the same problem for the third time now.
I would never recommend Stark's they have come three times to fix the same problem for the third time now, and it is still not fixed and Melissa who answers the phone in service dept. seems to be more interested in giving me a hard time rather than providing customer service.
I'm on Canada pension and I have to work part time and struggling to make ends meet every month and cannot afford this. Please Stark’s do the right.
