I was introduced to David, at Tetristone, by the company I purchased a new fireplace insert from recently. David was very helpful in suggesting potential material I might wish to look at, in addition to the generic tile products that are often used in condo fireplace surround finishes. I immediately felt comfortable awarding the contract to David after he provided a comprehensive quote.
From Day 1, David demonstrated not only a work ethic that is so refreshing to see, but a keen ability to work through a snag neither one of us had anticipated. With a last minute change to a beautiful locally sourced natural stone product, I watched as David created the most beautiful piece of art in my home.
Thank you David for providing an awesome addition to my home with just a small adjustment to the budget and on time, for the cooler weather. No need to head to Whistler to get Whistler, I just sit in my favorite chair and admire.

What an experience! I called several masonry contractors and decided to go with David at Tetrisstone Fine Masonry. We are so happy with our decision to go with David as he was so passionate about his work and I could hear that when I first contacted David.
Our old fireplace was just plain and unexciting so we decided to change the look as part of our renovation plans. David came and spoke to my wife and I and he had a vision as to how our fireplace will look like once he is done with it. He walked us through the whole process and was very helpful and professional.
We could see the detail in David's work and he was very peculiar as to how each stone is place.
It was a pleasure working with David and we already have plans for him to come back and do our 2nd one soon!

Working with David Gilmour was one of the best decisions we made. He was creative, a problem solver and excellent stone mason. His advice on choice/type of stone and where to purchase was invaluable to our decision process. He spent the time listen to us and worked with us to achieve an excellent result.
