I recently had my dishwasher installed by Jorge. It involved removing existing cupboard space, plumbing work, and modifying the space to suit a dishwasher. Jorge did the majority of the work and did a fantastic job. The dishwasher looks as though it has always been there. He even arranged for an electrician to install the dishwasher on a new breaker so we didn't have to deal with multiple people. I highly recommend them.

Long story short, I've lived in the current house for about 1.5 years. When my family and I moved in the house looked so nice from outside, new siding, newer windows new roof however, our first winter was so cold - we could feel the wind coming through the walls!!

I spoke to Jorge from The Construction Guys and he checked behind the siding and was able to assess the need of replacement of the insulation behind them.

When Jorge removed the first portion of siding, some rooten wood was exposed, the siding had been replaced to cover the rooten wood, the insulation was insufficient and the walls had holes in them, kind of a nightmare right!? It was a nightmare!

Jorge and his crew made my home from scratch basically! All of the siding was removed, the rooten playwood was replaced as well as the insulation, a leaking in the roof was fixed (it was causing the water to get through to walls from the roof all the way down to the basement), the gutters were replaced, facia and some framing as well, the holes filled in (animals were getting through), the entire house was wrapped up...

I got an assessment done before replacing all of the above and the house was loosing about 70% of the heating and cooling. After Jorge and his crew repaired all of the above, an assessment was done...the house has better insulation than new homes (mine reads now 93% which is above the figures of new homes according to the independent assessors).

I recommend Jorge and the Construction Guys Inc. without hesitation!! Not only is Jorge skilled but honest, trustworthy, punctual and reliable. My family and I trust Jorge and The Construction Guys blindly!! Thank you Jorge, you guys are amazing!

We just had our main bathroom renovation done, it turn to be bigger job then we had expected. Several joists under bathroom floor had to be replaced, Jorge and his crew performed renovation with utmost professionalism and results was amazing, floor and shower tile work was perfect. Jorge and his crew worked so hard day in and day out to get our house ready to live in. They replaced all the floors, baseboards and roof, they repainted the entire house in 10 days they even worked over the weekend and around our moving guys to accommodate us.

They were all around wonderful and we absolutely love our new house and the work that they did for us.

We are so pleased with the work Jorge and his team did! We actually booked with Jorge halfway through our bathroom reno, after our first contractor didn't work out. This was a really great experience. Jorge showed up on time, answered all my questions before the renovation (I was pretty nervous). We went shopping for materials beforehand and the whole thing went really smoothly. He answered any questions I had regarding material quality with great expertise. On the day of renovations, he showed up and got straight to it. I was able to leave him to work and he took care of organizing elevators and everything else on his own. I've had contractors in the past who really needed constant handholding to navigate renovations in a condo, and Jorge was NOT like that. The project stayed on time and on budget perfectly. The work he did was beautiful. The tile work is straight, and clean. There was a lot of dust after the renovation, but that's to be expected and he put in good effort to clean it! To be fair, a lot of what was left was stuff that settled a day or two after he was done and gone. I have 2 more bathrooms to renovate and he will definitely be my go-to guy because quality like this is hard to come by. Additionally, he's really personable and nice which is an awesome bonus. I haven't had a chance to use the shower yet, but I have full confidence it will work beautifully based on my experience so far.

Jorge is an extremely skilled and hard working man. He went above and beyond when it came to my bathroom renovation. He handled any hiccups that we encountered with grace. My wife and I recently had hired the Construction Guys to finish my basement. They came in and did measurements, asked us what we wanted. They were very friendly, professional, and courteous of our new home.

I have to be honest, I started writing a very long review about the whole process, because of how much I loved their quality of work, their work ethics with making sure the customer is 100% happy with the end product, and how I never felt I was never ripped off at any point. I decided to only put what I would want to know if I was a reader, not the whole process.

They give you a quote for their labour, then breakdown EVERYTHING they need with the pricing so you can see where your money is going. You go out and buy every material with Jorge( the owner of the Construction Guys), so you can see where exactly your money is going. On the quote Jorge places the regular prices on the material but when you go shopping, if there is a sale, or you can find something cheaper, or if you get The Construction Guys discount, then you save money from the quote.

Any changes that we wanted were easy for The construction Guys to accommodate to. They let me know if it would cost more or less, and how much more time it would take, if any. Some changes they did without any extra costs, which I was appreciative for.

I must add that before I found The Construction Guys on this website, I was quoted from another contractor for this job. It was a well reputable company in the city, with many awards. They quoted at DOUBLE, this is without exaggeration, it was twice as much literally.

These guys do a great quality job, for 1/2 as much as some of the other competitors. They do it in decent time, with quality in mind, and mindful of your house. They are very trustworthy as we were still living in our apartment at the time of most of the project. We gave them a key and entrusted them with our house and valuables inside. We had no issues.

I would highly recommended They Construction Guys for anyone. I think they only problem now is that they are getting more and more busy, due to the pricing, and quality of work which they preform. It's going to get more and more difficult to hire these guys with greater demand.

Jorge and his team delivered a really high-quality product, as evidenced by all our family and friends who commented on how professional the finish was. The service was really impeccable and the guys were really, really friendly and easy to get along with.

Insofar as budget, we only went higher than what was quoted initially because of our own preferences for certain materials and products. They even went to the stores to buy things and suggest on-sale items and were involved at every step in procuring the materials. As such, the labour costs never changed and they were very honest throughout the process.

The guys are more than competent and capable of doing everything to finish a basement and in our case, we wanted a bedroom w/ walk-in closet, a 3-pc bathroom and a pantry. We have no issues with the work done and we love the finished product.

We retained The Construction Guys (Jorge Paez) to renovate our kitchen area in our law offices and install cabinets, a countertop, sink, fridge and dishwasher. Jorge made himself available on short notice, had great suggestions and advise, and really made an effort to understand and create the look we wanted. He researched and found options for us and obviously had much experience and knowledge. He has very high standards for his company, for quality work and services.

When it came to actually installing our kitchen, Jorge was accommodating and made the process so easy and non-intrusive to our business. He did an excellent job installing and paid much attention to even the smallest detail. Our ktichen area was left spotless and gleaming when he was finished!

I had the basement finished into a basic playroom and a new bathroom created. I also had a new door installed within a closet and had a vanity changed for an existing bathroom.

Once The Construction Guys got going on my basement project, the work was completed in a month, as planned. All the framing work was done with durability in mind (very sturdy), insulation was well laid out everywhere. Electricity and plumbing were done by certified professionals and coordinated by The Construction Guys. It was a fairly big job overall but things proceeded promptly, with no major interruptions. A couple last minute changes had to be made in the layout for lighting and bathroom plumbing, which was a bit stressful, but everyone cooperated so the final result is entirely to my satisfaction. The flooring (laminate) turned out beautiful but we should have had better plans for insulation underneath as it feels very cold at all times. This is my only regret about the whole project. The tiling for the shower turned out lovely and well done. I received advice from The Construction Guys about appropriate materials/items to get for the new bathroom and was actually taken shopping for this to ensure all would be fine. There was a complicated vanity swap that required some "creative" installation to make the plumbing fit and it was all done very nicely. There was an issue with the original design of the house for access to the basement stairs. The Constructions Guys made a suggestion to create a new door and removable shelving system through a closet to enhance access to the basement, and now it is all perfect.

The budget seemed globally reasonable although the estimates for the prices for tiles and bathroom equipment were a bit on the low side compared with actual costs. We nevertheless managed to stay very close to the predicted budget.

The team was very nice and pleasant all along. I could trust them to work in the house while I was away. They all worked very long hours to finish the project in time, even as late as 10-11 pm in the last week. That was certainly a high level of dedication to meet the timeline. Overall, I am very satisfied with the outcome.

As an experienced resident manager I would have to say that this is the best contractor I have ever known. They can do anything! These guys completed work orders for not even a quarter of the ridiculous prices quoted by other contractors, and the quality was legit. Their timing is perfect, they complete the job that day, and the best part is they are unbelievably clean, I have never known contractors to be this way, it's crazy! I almost hope they don't get too busy because I would hate for others to have them lol!

I was very pleased with this company. Jorge was very professional and courteous and communication was timely and excellent. All aspects of the job were communicated fully before the project started, including a trip to Rona together to pick out the materials. The work completed was of high quality and all materials receipts were shared (a very honest and rare practice). They kept to the agreed upon timelines (also quite rare in the renovation business). Jorge also was very helpful offering additional answers and suggestions to my questions about other aspects of back yard maintenance that weren't included in the project they were working on. I now have a well secured back yard fence that my new puppy will not be able to dig or chew his way out of and stairs that will be safe for him to navigate. I recently had the Construction Guys handle a bathroom renovation, laminate replaced all of the carpet in the bedrooms along with some additional home improvements. Jorge was extremely knowledgeableand very hands. He had great suggestions and took me shopping to find the best materials for my project. Our old deck was removed and a new deck was installed. The work was done exactly how it was described to us in the free estimate that was provided. Jorge and his partner were extremely courteous, diligent and knowledgeable. Our new deck is amazing! They even fixed the stairs because they were initially installed properly.
