Omer and his Tile by Style crew are fabulous in every way possible. They are true professionals every step of the way, from initial quote to scheduling, keeping worksite clean, complete jobs very efficiently, and with excellent work & attention to detail. I am an Interior Designer and know that if I have Tile by Style complete the work for my clients it also makes me look good!

We have hired Tile By Style 11 years ago to replace our bathroom tiles. We were so happy with their service so we have hired them again now to do the complete bathroom renovation.

Do not let the company name imply that they are just tilers. They did all the tile work as well as bringing in a drywaller, plumber, electrician and other support staff as required.

We hired Tile By Style based on other good online reviews and I’m absolutely glad we did. Our fairly small ensuite bathroom in our mid ‘90s home was a collective mishmash of prior improvements and so we had the existing floor, prefab shower and spa-tub surround all removed and replaced with Caracca marble and it feels and looks fantastic. Tile by Style also facilitated the required plumbing including installation of new fixtures and the glass shower door for the new custom shower. We debated for quite some time whether it was worth removing the prefab shower or not. No regrets, it was a happy day to hear the prefab getting sawed apart and hauled out the door.

The entire reno process was absolutely flawless for several reasons. We were given really excellent suggestions to think about and the process and timelines were fully explained. All the work was completed in an utterly meticulous way, pleasant, on time, and I hadn’t realized tiling required such a great amount of remarkable precision. Another thing that really blew me over was the attention to fine detail involving a certain amount of problem solving, including small things that were well beyond my expectation, for example refitting the spa-tub’s small motor door so it now lays completely flush against the wall.

It’s our pleasure to be left with happy and fond memories of the work while it was being completed. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tile By Style to others and likewise, for future tiling work, certainly will be our first choice.

First of all, we found and were able to learn about Tile By Style after reviewing many excellent reviews. We received quotes from a few other contractors but as soon as we met Omer, we knew that his company was the one for us! So here is our review…….

This past winter, we had the pleasure of Omer and his crew (big shout out to Orhan) from Tile By Style, helping us with our 3 bathroom renovations.

Omer was not only able to advise us on his expertise on all our tile work: including flooring, bath surround and shower enclosures but he also provided valuable guidance as to the other requirements and trades that were also necessary. Although we had plumbers and drywall people, Omer was “key” to our time line and kept us on schedule with the other contractors. Please note…if you don’t have other trades, Omer has a team that can do it all (plumbers, electricians, glass doors etc.) We ended up using a couple of his recommendations and found them not only up to our standards but also to his! Omer and his crew arrived when he said they would, completed their work when he said they would and cleaned up every night before they left. They were always polite and cheerful. He made sure we were satisfied at every stage of our renovation!

We are not only satisfied……we thought that his whole team did an exceptional job! He was on time, on budget and absolutely no surprises!

So now we can say with a great deal of gratitude “Thank you”!

Tile by Style is an excellent company. My husband and I have used them twice now for our renovations. Omer is meticulous in his tiling and everything he does works out beautifully. He and his staff are on time and very friendly. I would recommend them to anyone.

We contracted with Omer and Tile by Style for our bathroom renovation project and had a great experience start to finish. Omer and his team are prompt, polite and professional. Omer made the tile purchase easy, made recommendations for what would work best and did a fantastic job on the install. They were on time, on budget and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. We have no hesitation in recommended them.

We had an old shower that needed to be gutted and re-tiled. I'm always afraid to hire trades as you never know what you're going to get and often scope increases and costs balloon without much warning. I contacted Tile by Style to come in and do an estimate of the work. Omer came in to do the estimate. He was very kind and knowledgable. He made me feel comfortable with the project and was very transparent with the work. With a shower it is difficult to know what you'll find behind the walls. Again, Omer was very up front with the work quoted and provided scenarios around what could happen should there be damage behind the walls. I was comfortable enough with our first meeting that I decided to hire Tile by Style.

Omer and his team came in and did the demo without issue and began the renovation the following week. I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency of Omer and his team. Omer kept in constant communication the whole time. They completed the shower tiling and it looked so good we added scope to the project and had them replace the backsplash and floor in the bathroom with the same tiles to keep it cohesive.

The work was truly amazing and transformed our bathroom. These guys are craftsmen and very good at what they do.

I won't even look to seek quotes from other tile companies going forward. I found a great tiling company and I'm going to stick with them. I would have these guys back in a heartbeat.

Omer and his team did an outstanding job renovating our master bedroom on suite bathroom. Don’t be fooled by the company name, this team does it all i.e. demolition, plumbing, electrical, framing, tiling, etc. We were so pleased with their workmanship, attention to detail and the professionalism of the crew, that we will definitely have them back for our next renovation project and we have already recommended Tile by Style to our friends and family.

Omer and his helpers repaired our leaking shower and replaced the tile in the shower and on the bathroom floor and tub surround. They showed up on time and worked long days to finish the job when they said they would. There were no surprises when the final bill came, as the price for the work was the same as the estimate that Omer gave us. They did an excellent job, and the tile looks great! Wow. Omer and his team genuinely exceeded my expectations. I am renovating a mid-century home and have experienced a run of bad luck in dealing with trades over the course of the last year of renovation - people not showing up on time, not doing what they say they will do and running over budget with little or no communication. Omer and his team have restored my faith that there are professional trades people in Calgary. He provided a detailed budget up front after coming to view my project. He then signed a contract I wrote and was happy to do so. He refused a retainer and said I should only pay after the project was done and I was completely happy. I asked for two references which he readily provided. There was lots of communication in advance and he even offered to help me with the demo, going to the effort of checking in with me the weekend before he started to see if I needed any help. Amazing. He said the renovation would take 3 days ( I didn't really believe it) and 3 days it took - with Omer and his team working incredibly long days to achieve this. They cleaned up at the end of each day as well. At the end of the project Omer came to inspect it with me. He made me smile when he realized there was some construction dirt in the window track of an open window - he frowned and offered to bring back the vacuum to clean it up! He is simply a kind, genuine and incredibly hard working gentleman and his team reflect these values. They were so respectful of being in my home and at most accepted a glass of water from me. Omer (Tile by Style) is amazing! I had a job that need to get done in a short time frame and he made it happen. He is reliable and shows up when he says he will. The job that I had requested him to complete was a patch job. I did not have the original marble, but when you look at the finished product you would never know!! AMAZING!! If you're doing any tile work in your house whatsoever, call these guys. The work is done professionally, to a high degree of excellence, and in a short amount of time. The finished work is a masterpiece! Over the past five years I've had to deal with a lot of contractors (both good and bad) for home renovations and Omer and his team were by far the best. Very easy to work with, and pricing was very reasonable.

His team also had to fix a previous contractors tile errors in two other bathrooms and they did a very good job of taking a disaster and making it look more than presentable.

Highly Recommend!! After having our granite replaced, some of the backsplash was in need of some repairs and required grouting. No one wanted the job as it was such a small one. We went up to Romford to the showroom to have a look before ordering and found it well worth the trip. The staff there were also very pleasant and helpful.

My experience with Omar and his people was a breath of fresh air. Professional and very understanding of what needed to be done and the craftsmanship is great.

The photos don't do justice to what Omer and his team have done for us. When our previous tiler had no longer responded to our phone calls, we got Omer to do our bathroom. We were in a time constraint because I was 9 months pregnant and needed the renos to be mostly done by the time baby came. Not only did he make time out of his busy schedule to it us in, his crew finished 1 week before I delivered.

When they arrived, there were some difficulties in my husband's layout of the shower with the drain. They worked with him to make sure that there was enough slope, and was able to help us solve our problem through brainstorming and collaboration.

For the fireplace, they called in a gasfitter to help move the gas pipe for us. They were thorough and made sure to do everything right. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. All this, and they charged us a very reasonable price.

I hired Omer to install tiles in my newly constructed sunroom after seeing the good reviews in TrustedPros. Omar visited me to provide the quote and he was on time. My plan was to lay the floor heating cables myself and for Omer to pour the levelling compund and install the tiles. He explained the whole process and reviewed his quote, he also gave me some tips in laying the floor heating cable as I was doing it for the first time. He also left his multimeter for me to check and ensure that the cable is not damaged during the installation process.

After deciding to move forward, he and his worker arrived on time at the committed day. He took one more day to finish the job as the weather condition did not allow the levelling compound to dry as expected, but this was not an issue for me. The quality of work was good, and he left the premises very clean.

I will not hesitate to recommend Omer to anyone for a similar job.

On short notice, Omer and his assistant provided a very reasonable quote for finishing both of our bathrooms, including removing the baseboards in the basement bath, prepping the subfloor, tiling and grouting, installing the baseboards in both baths, and caulking. The work was completed in a timely manner and looks great. I was very impressed with the cleanliness displayed by the crew, and how dedicated to the task they were. Omer did an excellent job removing the drywall and retiling our bathtub surround. He was punctual, friendly, did excellent work, and was a very fast getting the work done. We would recommend Omer to anyone!

We recently had two bathrooms and a front entry redone by Omer and his crew at Tile by Style. The entry and ensuite had tiled floors installed, and our 5 by 8 foot main bathroom was demolished and the old tub replaced with a new tiled shower. Omer is very particular and takes obvious pride in doing an excellent job. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and materials. He arrived when he said he would and worked hard to finish the job in the time frame quoted. This was especially appreciated since we had no other shower or tub to use. They did an excellent cleanup at the end of each day and were a considerate, cheerful, enjoyable group of young men to have in our house for five days. The job came in at the exact price quoted except for a very reasonable adjustment for a built in seat which we decided on after the quote. Omer recommended a plumber who we were also very happy with. We will certainly use Tile by Style again and recommend him to others.

Omer did a fantastic job. We got quotes from 6 different places, his wasn't the lowest, or the higest, but we hired him because he sounded the most knowledgeable and answered our questions well. He was also willing to let us do the demo of the old tiles and build the niche by ourselves to save some money.

The price he quoted was the price he charged us, his estimates for how much tile we should buy was spot on (I think we had one floor tile left at the end, and a few wall tiles), and he was very helpful and patient with us with our last minute decisions. He did a great job, and did it in the amount of time he originally quoted us. We are already planning on getting him to come back to do our entrance floor, and back splash in the kitchen.

I would 100% recommend Omer to anyone I talk to.

He made the process so simple and provided a quote within the day (which was exactly what he charged in the end). He called/texted to check in and arrived when arranged. The work was done efficiently and the finished project was beautiful. He did the messy work outside with a great amount of consideration for our room. We have hired Omer at Tile by Style for various projects in our home. He has always done an excellent job for an excellent price. I believe he goes above and beyond and I would highly recommend his company for any tile projects. We have been 100% satisfied.

Several years ago Omer laid tile in the entryway of my home. He did everything to a very high standard. The tiles are level and perfectly even. Next, he installed tile on the stairs leading up to our living room. To do this, he had to cut triangular pieces to fit the sides of the stairs. Again, he did a perfect job. He is truly an artist in tile, and this tile is the first thing people notice when they come into my home. I am often asked who did this beautiful work.

A short while later, Omer tiled my kitchen backsplash and the bathroom floor. They turned out beautifully.

Today, Omer put new tiles in the master bath shower enclosure. Everything looks great. The tiles are even, seams are neatly sealed with silicone, and the edges of the tiles are finished with metal shoulders that match those used on the floor tile.

I really appreciate Omer's courteous demeanor and how he is always on time and has all the materials he needs with him. Because of this, he is always finished quickly. He cleans up afterwards too, leaving everything as clean or cleaner than he found it.

I hired Tile by Style to tile my 100 sq/ft bathroom and am very happy! Omer was quick to return my call and was over to give an estimate, gave me a good price and he was very polite and respectful.

1st Day of the job Omer and his associate were right on time as promised, and went straight to work. They took off their shoes and laid down drop cloths around the work area, and outside by the saw. after finishing for the day everything was clean.

Came back the next day to grout, after finishing Omer provided a flange extension and wax ring and installed my toilet! Thanks Omer!

I needed to get the bathrooms done and one of the bathrooms needed a demolition and was very impressed by his price and quality of work.

As buyers of a new spec home my wife and I were so impressed with the quality of the work by Omer and his team. They were flexible with our changes to materials and design and great advisors. We had a tight timeline for posession and they had to work lond hours with hardwood flooring going on around them but they met the schedule. The attention to detail evidenced by the complex pieces that they cut around the edges of the bathtub were to the millimeter. As a stained glass hobbyist I can appreciate the difficulty and the pride of perfection. Can't speak to their cost. Just happy that Le Chateau Custom Homes want the best in their homes. I checked on our build regularly and the team was always friendly and explained what they were doing. One section of tile in the entry was discovered to be moving because the subfloor wasn't nailed down properly so they pulled it up and fixed it correctly and redid the tile. It was a hassle for them but they knew it would end up cracking later if they didn't redo the work. We are perfectionists and they earned our highest recommendation.

We first worked with Tile by Style as a subcontractor to a larger flooring company when having the floors throughout our housing complex units redone. We later hired Tile by Style for bathroom renovations in several units, because they were reliable and they understood that in a home with one bathroom, time is of the essence. Their flexibility in working with whatever tiles or materials we selected and their advice in sorting out the various options for drywall and subfloors was invaluable. They really don't seem interested in marking up the materials and since we wanted to make our budget cover as many bathrooms as possible, it was good to work with someone who wasn't adding costs along the way. I think that if you're looking for a contractor and you have certain priorities, whether they are time, or cost, or quality, Tile by Style can help to provide a service that fits with your expectations. I have recommended them to two friends in the past and in both instances, my friends were quite happy with the service they received; I have no concerns about recommending them here.

The guys from Tile By Style did an excellent job fixing all kinds of things in our house. The masterpiece was retiling of the bathroom. These guys communicate very clear (call to make an appointment, call if they are a bit later), work very tidy, really take the client's situation into account (they came back on Sunday to finalize the job!) and are extremely courteous. I found Tile by Style through BBB and because of their excellent rating, requested a quote. We made an appointment for Omer to visit out home and discuss options. He listened to our wants and needs, provided us with the option of using his suppliers or purchasing our own tiles and gave us a rough estimate. He then emailed a firm quote the following day which was reasonable. We had a few hiccups with the other trades time lines but Omer was wonderful at working around them.

I'm thrilled with the tile I chose (from his supplier) and the room turned out wonderful.

As for my comment on cleanliness..........tiling is by far one of the messier jobs to undertake. The amount of grout and water used in this project, left me with some patching and repairing of the lower part of the gyprock.
