Sam oversaw the refurbishing of the three stair cases in our home, which included replacing all bannisters and pickets, and capping all treads in oak, plus painting the risers. His carpenter did a superb job, and Sam kept the project on time and within estimated cost. Pricing was more than fair. Excellent result, excellent service.

Sam and his crew were excellent to work with. He was professional and made a beautiful set floating stairs. We are happy we found him.

We hired Sam and his crew for two main reasons: One, he came highly recommended by close friends for whom he redid their bathroom; and two because when he came to do his estimate he took a significant amount of time discussing many of the technical details of the job, including what kinds of difficulties there may be. In spite of the fact that his estimate was a bit higher than the other two we acquired, we hired him based on our gut.

Our gut was right. Sam was extremely professional the whole way through. He did his best to keep our house clean while the renos were underway. He worked around our schedule and when I made some requests midway he was very accommodating. At the end he provided a beautiful basement with close attention to detail, whilst staying within both the budget and the time estimate. We are extremely happy with our new basement (and nursery) and highly recommend Sam for any renos you may have in mind.

Sam has a good working attitude. He followed up from stage to stage until the work has been completed. The workmanship is professional and completed within schedule. I'd recommend Yara Enterprises to everyone.

Sam was great - he delivered a project on time (3 weeks start to finish), within budget and was very pleasant to work with.

The work is top notch. The bathroom looks fabulous and the quality of work shows.

Even though I met with a dozen contractors, when I met with Sam, he was the only one who expressed actual genuine interest in doing the job. I didn't feel like he was trying to sell me something or that he was doing me a favour by showing up. He's just a good honest person - he's also very good at what he does. He really cared about making us happy with the job and it showed in the finished product.

Budget was very reasonable (a couple lower bids and a few bids almost double). He showed up on time every day, made consistent progress and checked in with me constantly to make sure I was happy with what was done or to ask me what I would like him to do with certain details. Any little snags that came up, he dealt with as a professional in an almost zen-like manner. I didn't see him flustered once or express any frustration - even though I am very picky and have a very low tolerance for anything less than perfect. It went a bit longer than originally anticipated (due to some material issues), but Sam came every day until the job was done, never abandoning us for another project.

In short, it was a pleasure working with him! He did a fantastic job and we will be using him again for our kitchen reno in the future. Thanks Sam!

Sam was really easy to work with and always provided clear communication throughout the process.

Some coordination was required with an electrician and Sam was accommodating to allow both schedules to work.

The quality of work was great because Sam and his team are attentive to details. I had many small areas in the house that needed drywall patchwork and now these areas look nice and seamless.

The tiles also were a patchwork job in various areas in the basement, and the work done is very seamless and neat.

I'd like to thank Sam (Yara Enterprises) for the excellent work he did replacing a fence for us and other 4 neighbours. In addition Sam has also replaced hanging balcony posts to provide a proper support, layed out slabs to provide a platform for the BBQ, replaced previously damaged slab around balcony post all in the backyard and removed the an old dry bush and replaced it with the new one.

He was very prompt in providing the estimates for all the work and followed all the details that we had requested. Once the fence was started (on the date promised) his team worked from early morning to late into the evening and it was completed without any interruption.

Overall we are very satisfied with everything and would ask Sam (Yara Enterprises) if we have future needs.

We renovated our master bedroom en-suite last year. We worked with Sam to design the new layout regarding the shower stall, bath tub and cabinetry. Sam was very professional. Once the project started, he and his team were punctual and on site every day. They sealed off the work areas and cleaned up daily. The workmanship was of high quality, especially the tiling job. Sam kept us up-to-date. If we had any queries or issues, he was quick to respond. We were very pleased with the new bathroom.

We also had him re-tile the floor in the main bathroom and do other small jobs around the house.

Sam and his team did a great job in renovating our Condo. They did the kitchen, bathroom, tiling, paint and a lot of other things to change the condo from old and dreary to new and sparkling. Sam is a good communicator and kept us up to date with the progress which was very helpful since we were not living in the condo during the renovations and we could not go there every day. They also kept the place tidy.

After over 30 years of living in a house with the same kitchen, floors, poor lighting and original paint on the walls, Lorraine and I called Sam from Yara Enterprises to come in and do renovations in our home. We found that Sam was always helpful with ways to do the renovation from the very beginning, and very capable of carrying the entire job to conclusion. The job required Electrical, Flooring, Plumbing, Painting expertise’s, along with the Cabinet installations. All aspects were controlled and organized in an efficient and timely manner by Sam and his team of craftsmen. We are very pleased with his work and would gladly recommend him to others who are interested in any style of home renovation.

We wanted to thank Sam for the excellent work he did for us. Sam has excellent attention to detail and did exactly what he said he would and was right on budget. We now have the extra closet and our bathrooms look great!

Being a wheelchair user, my bathroom vanity/sink was too high for me to reach and Sam was able to lower it and now its perfect for me!

I would definitely recommend Yara Enterprises as a contractor to anyone. We will be using Yara Enterprises for any of our future renovations!

An excellent job was done on my basement. They did the framing, ceiling , plumbing, electrical and flooring. I did not have to worry about anything. It was all done in professional manner. The main thing that mostly impress me was the cleanliness of my home during and after construction.

Very courteous, timely and did exactly as promised.
