We have worked with many contractors for various jobs and working with with this company is the only bad experience we have had. The concrete pad was not constructed properly and needed significant repair. The project dragged on as they worked it around other jobs and we needed to follow up with them to clean up our yard. We also found the customer service lack long. Although the company offered to repair it, we were not confident they would be able to do so and had such a bad customer service experience we ultimately hired a different company to repair it (that unlike Y&Y had an adequately sized crew for the job and equipment like a motorized wheelbarrow and cement mixer to use in our backyard). Would never use them again and would never recommend them to anyone.

I’ve never met anyone like Jacob. We wanted replace our fences which were part old wood and part chain link. Jacob, on his own, removed all the old fences (which were buried in concrete for the most part), cleaned up the area and installed a beautiful and modern new fence. He has a great attention to detail and made great suggestions all along the way. Similar to other who have posted reviews we kept asking him to do more as we saw how capable and skilled he is. The best part is he is so reliable. He shows up when he says he will. His prices are fair. He’s always reachable. He works crazy long hours to get the job done fast. Best of all he gives great results that look amazing.

Company should be renamed "J & J" Contracting Inc. after the dynamic duo of Jacob & Jenn!!!!!

Jacob did an amazing job on the stone facing on the front of our home. He is one hard working and decent individual!!! He knows his craft and is an artist so much so that I started calling him Michangelo. Jenn is also a pleasure to deal with and was always kind, patient and soft spoken regarding my questions and requests!! I will definitely use this company again and would not hesitate to reccomend them to family and friends!

Y&Y (Jacob) did an outstanding job enclosing our porch. It was a tricky project due to the curved roof and limited space, but the result (which was based mostly on Jacob's suggestions) was superior. It looks like it has always been this way, and the space serves the exact purpose we desired. Jacob and the rest of the crew are dependable, efficient, and friendly. We would highly recommend Y&Y.

Y&Y did an excellent job removing an old fence and building a new one that looks great.

They built it with 6x6 posts, dug 3 1/2 feet into the ground with a concrete pour. The digging was complicated as they were building in between two houses with electrical wires, irrigation lines, etc running everywhere. They hand dug each post to avoid damaging my grass but also to ensure no mistakes were made.

For the fence, they built upon request a traditional style "good neighbor" fence and it looks fantastic. Each piece was measured appropriately and the fence looks consistent and all the lines are perfectly straight. All eight sections of the fence have a uniform and straight line. They used screws and didn't cut corners anywhere. They completed the job with nice fence post cuts and post caps.

Jacob was also clean on the job. They cleaned up after the job each day although there is evidence that work was performed, it is nothing like I have seen with other contractors.

Lastly, Jacob was a good communicator both with me as the primary customer, but also my neighbor. I wouldn't hesitate to use Y&Y in the future.

We’re so happy with our new concrete pad - we now have a whole new patio area near our pool. Y & Y was fantastic with communication, email, phone, appointments and the work was completed on time and above expectations. Jacob was our contractor, very hard working and has lots of knowledge. Framing, Drywalling and Painting

Y&Y did my entire driveway with new concrete, and redid the whole front of my house, which included a new concrete porch, stairs and railings. They did an outstanding job. Professional team, amazing communication and on time. I will definitely use them for my backyard project next summer. Highly recommended.

I think Y&Y is an average contractor for what you would expect at their price point. Next time I will hire another contractor even if it costs more.
