The closet is 82" wide. Previously there were two regular sliding doors, and a poorly hung curtain to fill the extra gap.
I have been asked to install a third mirrored door to help complete the look of the current renos under way!. (all the closets are being cedar lined at this stage, and this is the planning for the last closet).
There will be a 7 & 1/2" gap that the three doors will not cover, that I will fill in with framing.
It was suggested that I cut the tracks for the third door in half lengthwise to accomodate the tracking needs, however I am concerned about the upper track having sufficient strength to last over the long term.
It seems to me that I would be better served with an extra track set and living with the fourth unused track being visible?

The triple panel doors I did recently had the 2 end panels on one track and the center panel on the other track. These were hanging style as they were pressed board and light.
Mirrored door I recently installed slide on rollers on the floor track so the weight was not hanging, the top track just guided the panels.
