I was wondering on a bi level house that was built in 1982 and has stucco. There is a wooden divider between the lower level and the upper level dark brown. The stucco is all cream coloured. I need some patching done on the lower park as there are some cracks and had a contractor come in a he is recommending to do the lower level in a complimentary brown colour as they cannot match the existing stucco as it would either be white or grey to patch. I think it would give the house a different look than the others in the neighbourhood and good selling feature. Any comments?

I think the fella you called is spot on. Patches are always so noticeable.
