I am located in Toronto and am looking to know an approximate cost of installing an inground pool like the one in the picture. Would need new fencing also.
Only looking for cost at this time.
The pool in the photo looks like concrete to me. The general range for a concrete pool is from $80,000 to $120,000. That would include: excavation, forming/pouring concrete, finishing, and tiling. Pools are unfortunately not that cheap. There are cheaper solutions like vinyl and fibreglass, but you would have to talk directly to a dealer to find out those prices.
As for your fence, it is tough to give you a price:
-How many feet of fencing is it?
-Cedar, pressure treated, Ipe, Kebony, Composite?
-What style of fence?
Other things to consider for pool construction are:
-Safety fencing for around your pool or doorways to meet code.
-The patio around the pool: concrete, flagstone, pavingstone
-Planting areas, dining areas, lounging areas
For a project of this size I would highly recommend hiring a design/build landscape firm that can meet with you and come up with a design for your property. They can take in all of your wants and needs and apply them to a design that will look aesthetically pleasing in drawing format, and in your backyard.
Thanks for the quick reply!!! Sorry I had no idea that was a concert pool, I'm looking at a vinyl pool (20x30) as for fencing would be very simply cedar (approx. 150-200) feet.
Yes you are right I believe we would need a fence in front of pool due to new by-laws (old North York) just pavers around pool, I already have stamp concert on patio. No landscaping to be done.
Sorry, I guess I should have mentioned looking at salt water system.
