Water damage to laminate flooring

I had water back up and flood my newly installed laminate floor. It now makes a cracking noise when walked on. Is the only solution replacing the damaged area? I believe the laminate is still available.

The water damage your laminate and the only way to fix your flooring it is to remove damaged laminate area and reinstall new product .

when laminate flooring gets wet it will swell and not return to original state. It would need to be replaced.
