How durable and low maintenane is cork in the bathroom and kitchen compared to tile?

cork flooring is a high maintenace product in it self and not reccommended for bath susceptible to staining

The one plus about cork flooring compared to tile in my mind is that it's much warmer underfoot. Tiles are freezing cold in winter. I think you can get a sealant for cork to protect it and would look into that first before choosing tile.
