I had just done my pavement 8 months ago, unfortunately, there were chipping on surface and the seal is opening.
I did bring back to the same contractor who did it. Sadly, they said nothing could be done even though this work is still under their warranty.
I am very sad and please advice what should I do.

Pull out your contract with the company and ask them to fix their job or go to ministry of labour and tell them of your trouble. The minimum they should do is fill the cracks and reseal it.
Not knowing where and how it was done, paving is all about surface preparation. If they didn't prepare it porperly, it will always split. BUT we live in frozen - frosty areas where the ground is always moving from summer to spring, so drive down your main street and count the cracks and holes there, it will give you an indication of how much the ground moves around you.
