1. We need to install 2 of the following Garage Door Openers on both garage doors:
Chamberlain HP Whisper Drive Plus Garage Door Opener
2. Our house is about a year old. Our basement is unfinished and there is no wiring done other than the main electrical/cable box. We need at least two electrical outlets in other parts of the basement for TV and Treadmill etc.
We would like all this work done ASAP. Please provide quote for work above.
Thanks.
We currently have natural gas in our home but no line to the kitchen. We have just purchased a gas range and will need a gas line run for it and the range installed.
That area of the kitchen is over the unfinished furnace area of the basement, so the ceiling is open.
Please let us know how much this install would cost.
Thanks.
New TV installed and mounted, but, need power routed to hide wiring. There is a receptical just under the TV, need to tie TV power into it without cables showing, and no furniture to hide.
Components will be stored on the other side of the wall as there is a cabinet direct on the other side of the wall.
See pictures, happy to chat more if there’s a more straightforward way.
Also need to mount and route HDMI from soundbar to Samsung OneConnect box which would go in the cabinet.

Moved into a new (old) house and I need a day (or two) of work with a licensed Electrition. The entire house has been updated to new electrical wire (14-2) from knob and tube wiring approximately 8 years ago.
Work that needs to be done.
1) Basement (unfinished) needs some rewiring for light switches. Some of it is roughed in already.
2) outside has some flood lights that need coduit (Bare wires are lying on the ground)
3) Replace outside light fixtures with new (led) ones
4) Install bathroom pot light.
5) move two light switches.
The job would include moving three ceiling light fixture boxes in a 9 foot ceiling in three different rooms as well as installing 4 new pot lights in the kitchen with an 8 foot ceiling. There are already 2 pot lights installed. The job is at a new build condo that is currently empty.
This would not include the drywall repair or installing actual fixtures, just installing the boxes.
Thank you!
Hi - I'm looking for an electrician to install 2 bathroom fans and a pot light.
Two bathrooms on 2nd floor (main and ensuite). Neither have bathroom fans or electrical for fans, surfaces are finished drywall. We want to install bathroom fans in both bathrooms, and add a pot light to the main bathroom. We have a roofer confirmed for the vent install.
Timing is flexible, can start anytime, sooner the better.
Hello,
My husband and I just bought our first home and we have found a few problems. The house was built in the 70's and the wiring is aluminum.
We are looking to have 3 (potentially 4) jobs done:
1) correct wiring in the stove hood and make sure it works
- the previous homeowner tried to DIY on a few tings, yesterday we discovered that he had threaded loose wires into an extension cord, wrapped it in packing tape and had it plugged in to the outlet on the top of the stove. We haven't been using it but would like to have a fan and light above our stove.
2) there is an outdoor plug (on the other side of the wall in the same location as the stove) that doesn't work, we suspect this is also why the stove range doesn't work. But we would like to get that working.
3) We would like an outlet installed in our kitchen - there is a box on the dining room wall side, but not on the kitchen side, so we would like one installed there.
4) we could have some faulty wiring in our basement laundry room and would like to have it looked it to see if the wires are live or not and potentially find out where they are coming from/going to.
Thanks,
Emily
We are looking for the best value quote for potlights in our house. 20-24 potlights on the main floor, 8-10 on the second floor and 6-8 exterior potlights.
Also would need the following set up in the family room:
LCD Tv hung (already have bracket)
5 point Surround sound installed
Hooked up to PVR, Playstation, Wii and DVD player
Our home is 1 year old in Burlington (Alton Village), approximately 3000 sq ft. Main Floor is all smooth ceilings. Second Floor is Stucco ceiling. Exterior potlights needed on front only.
Please provide us your rates.
I have a small bungalow which is about 1100 sq feet. I'm looking to have 6 pot lights installed in the living room where there is no electrical in the ceiling as well as 5-6 pot lights in the kitchen, part of which will require electrical to be run to a portion of the ceiling in the kitchen.
I'm looking to have the popcorn ceiling scraped off, it hasn't been painted and the space consists of living room, hallway, 3 bedrooms. The ceiling will need to be leveled as well in terms of fixing an inconsistencies that the removal of the stucco reveals so it can be painted.
I need to add 25 pot lights throughout my house. I also need to move the electric for a stove (closer to the panel than it is now, so there's enough length with the existing cable). And add new electrical for 3 countertop plugs and a washer/dryer.
Please send me an estimate for what this might cost.
We wish to rewire the detached two car garage and workshop in the home we have purchased in Aldershot to move it from the old tube wiring that is there now to new wiring. The house itself has been totally updated but the garage was not. We would like to obtain quotes and have some references to get this job done and bring all the electrical out there up to today's standard and have more power out in the workshop area than there is now. The electricity in the garage also runs an outside security light on the outside of the workshop which is at the back end of the garage. The house was built in the early 1950's and we believe the garage was built about 10 years later, sometime in the early 1960's. The garage is not insulated. it does have one electrical wire which is newer and operates the garage doors from a switch inside the house. The wire for this has been run under the back lawn and into the new breaker panel in the basement from what we were told by our home inspector. We would like a breaker panel located in the garage itself and separate from the one in the house if possible.
Just moved into our home in Aldershot we're told the home was retired with copper, I find our it's not so.
Our insurance company requested a ESA certification.
The home is a raised bungalow 1100 sq ft on main floor and approx 900 sq on lower level.
If possible I would like a quote to see what the cost will be.
We're looking to move a dining room ceiling light (chandelier) over about a foot so that it is better centered with the room. We own the house. I can do all the drywall repair afterwards, I just don't want to do the electrical or cut up the ceiling without guidance. Note: Start date is flexible
This is ideal for someone working in the area and wants to pop by for some quick cash.
I have two cat6 cables that I had to cut the heads off so I could fish them through the walls.
I'm around most weekdays, I'm flexible when you could stop by. In your message please include how much you would charge for this.
This is the cable you'd be fixing:click here
That's it.

My Garage has one 15A. I would like to replace/add a sub panel, and one 20A circuit.
The panel should support about 8 circuits, 2 phase would be a "nice to have".
The garage is attached to the house. The existing panel is aprx 100 feet from the garage. Between 15 and 25 feet is a finished ceiling the rest is open. The Garage is unfinished so surface mounting is likely required.
