I would like to remove and replace kitchen cabinets. I could do the removal myself but i am looking for someone to quote the purchase and installation of cabinets, including granite counter-top and a 4x2 or 4x3 island with granite counter-top in the middle of the kitchen. The kitchen is small, probably 12x10 (approximately).
I have a 9.5x 9 foot kitchen with cabinetry on the one wall 9.5 feet long. I want new cabinets top and bottom cabinet. Top needs to have two cabinets that are for over fridge, cherry oak look, I am also replacing the counter top size 53x27inch, I have glass backsplash that i wish to keep if possible. I wish to replace the sink that i have purchased already but will need new faucet installed. I am only looking for online quotes to educate my self as i may need time to save more money to do the job.
This is a small kitchen and i am aware that the cabinets might need to be custom made. I will need old cabinets removed from wall prior to the new ones intalled.
We would like to add a backsplash, an island and possibly new appliances.
We're not sure if we can put a stove top into the island and use the existing space for the stove for more cabnets etc. We are obviously open to sugesstions but we need a quote for loan aproval. We are looking at spending $9,000, do you think this could work?

House built in 1906 or 1914.
Kitchen has ceiling damage (down to original plaster(?)) from bathroom leak 3 years ago. (Husband did not want to call insurance because rates would increase?) Walls have surface damage as in paper has peeled off.
Floor needs replacing - sub floor still okay I think.
PLEASE DON'T BE FRIGHTENED BY THE PICTURES. I have been sick for a while and then a face plant to the floor the second week of January set me back even more. Plus I really have just the two cabinets with the glass doors.
Our kitchen currently has peel & stick tiles (I believe its peel & stick anyways) which we would like to replace as it is not in the best shape (plus I can't stand peel & stick!). We're not sure what we want to replace it with as we need to be as economical as possible. The kitchen is not very large, its about 90-100 square feet. In addition to the flooring issue, the kitchen (the whole house really) has a storage issue so we would like some sort of cupboard or pantry built in the corner (so it doesn't take up alot of space but offers storage). The corner I am speaking of is 3 feet by just under 2.5 ft (its 3 feet to the door & 2.5 to the pass-thru). I would like it to match the kitchen cupboards as much as possible. I want something sturdy which is why I haven't bought something from canadian tire & just stuck it in the corner!
Our house was built approximately 1920, it has a double bricked exterior from the basement to the main floor and cedar planks on the second level. All wiring has been newly replaced and certiifed.
Our goal is to remove a supporting wall between the formal dinning area and the currently unused kitchenette, and move the working kitchen into this space while turning the old working kitchen into a main floor laundary and powder room.
The rough dimensions of the rooms are as follows: Formal dinning area (12x10), Kitchenette (12x8), and working kitchen (5.5x6.5). There is no work actually required in the working kitchen which is off the kitchenette, at this time.
As part of this project we would like to remove a window (5x4.5) from the formal dinning area and replace it with french doors. We would also be looking to remove the single door (2.5x6.5) from the kitchenette and replace it with a window that would sit above the countertop.
There will also likely need to be a support pole placed in the basement for added structure integity once the wall comes out.
We plan to do much of the lesser renovations ourselves but require a contractor to deal with the structural and masonry works before we can begin.
Online quotes will be fine however if you are interested in a site visit please let me know as this can be easily arranged.
The ideal timeline would see this stage of the project completed asap.
I have a 100 year old brick house. I need an external door installed where there is currently a window and the window bricked up. I also will need the plumbing moved and pot lights installed in the ceiling - it is modern 200 amp service in the home and the plumbing is in good condition. I have purchased a maple kitchen to be installed and need that put into the kitchen.
I've recently moved into a condo with the original kitchen but no appliances. I want to take this opportunity to rip it all out and modernize the kitchen. A lot of this project design depends on if I can open up a wall to the living room or not. I've selected high-end Miele appliances, most of which will require plumbing and some requiring draining. Some appliances will need 240V wiring (I confirmed that I do have 240V service, not 208V). I would like to put in Corian countertops. I haven't decided on colours yet (I'm thinking function before form) but I am aiming for a contemporary, modern, useful design.
I will be buying assembled cabinets from Lowes and need someone to install the cabinets in my kitchen.
- install assembled cabinets
- cut and install laminate countertop
- install double sink / hook up sink
- install faucet
- install Ikea dishwasher
- install fridge water line
- demolition and disposal of cabinets
Looking to have small L shaped kitchen (11x9) torn out, including tile flooring and tile back splash. (Possible drywall work may be needed after tear out), new subfloor laid
-Install Ikea cabinets
-Tile back splash
-Install dishwasher (currently not installed) and over range micro/fan (will need electrical work done for both).
-Install cork flooring
Hi,
I would like to remove a load bearing wall and relocate everything inside the wall. Wall approximately 7 wide by 8 high. There is a switch and some pipes that need to be rerouted.
For the kitchen I need new cabinets, granite counter top or equivalent, tile floor, back splash and pot lights. The liner ft of the kitchen is approximately 12ft. with a 6ft ialand The floor space Is around 140sqft.
And my bathroom I would like it gutted and redone with a 4x4 walk in shower, vanity and toilet. I have everything so it would be a labor only. Bathroom is 8x8.5 I would like trim too.
I am looking for a sqft price on the tiles, back splash, a price on the bathroom for labor only I will provide materials, for the load bearing wall you would supply materials and also for the kitchen I am looking for price per liner foot and what is included.
Thanks
Current kitchen has a strange layout, bulkheads, and 3 door entries. I'd require new cabinets, countertops, sink and connection.and fume hood.Pictures are attached.I'm also considering opening the wall (where the stove is) to make an open concept from the living room. I'd take some suggestions too if you see a better opportunity. I'd like to add that I do not have a large budget but I will pay a fair price.
We are looking to do a complete kitchen renovation in an old home. Some demolition is required (removing a pantry, a bathroom, and a wall) as well as new cabinets, appliances, an island and wood floors need to be refinished. Design assistance is needed as this is a blank slate.
12'x12' kitchen renovation. 9 foot ceiling. Wanting cabinets to go to ceiling. Cabinet along one out wall will have stove, sink and fridge. Island in middle, to contain dishwasher and pot and pan drawers, with counter height bar stools. Other wall to cabinets with a small desk in middle (cabinets are same thickness as upper cabinets). Looking for a shaker style cabinet with a little more detail around edges, white in colour, can be mdf. A light colour of granite or quartz/ceasarstone. Hopefully this is enough info.
Thank you,
Debbie (Stoney Creek area)
Also looking to do two bathroom cabinets as well.
I have two small rooms - one the existing kitchen and the second beside it. I want to remove the wall between the two rooms to enlarge the kitchen and create a kitchen with island style preparation area and eat in breakfast area.
I am fine with an "IKEA" style cabinets ... in other words, I don't care to pay for custom cabinets and extras ... just a nice looking renovated kitchen.
Job may include punching through the wall and installing sliding doors to a back deck, etc. Let's see what you come up with and the cost of same.

Kitchen size is @15X12 Work be be done November 2011. We included a picture of the design we are leaning towards.

I am the property owner. Additional projects to be discussed.
Kitchen renovation in a wartime house. (All these houses look basically the same, so I assume you have an idea. It's one where the kitchen is at the back of the house.)
Kitchen is approx 9x11.
There is a wall between kitchen and dining room (likely a support wall) that we also want opened (it is 9 across the kitchen but goes a bit further into the hall).
