Hi I need a contractor with experience to complete a bathroom in my basement. The basement has been finished with the exception of the bathroom and is in a 3 year old house. The bathroom is already roughed in and has the following:
- A space for a shower insert
- Plumbing for a sink (already purchased sink)
- Plumbing for a toilet (Already purchased the toilet)
- Exhaust vent already installed
So the main scope of the project is to finish the floor, install a toilet, install a sink/counter and shower. Painting and baseboards can be done by me at a later date. This is a relatively strait forward job. Please contact me at and we can discuss in greater detail.
Trevor
Water leaks in the inner/outer corner of the step damaging the baseboard and and a small portion of the drywall. I need to replace the top portion of the step with marble threshold and replace the damaged drywall and base board with tiles. I have the materials: marble threshold, cement, caulking and grout, except for the marble/tile cutter. A contractor came in and ask me purchase the materials but he never came back due to the work being too small I assume.
I have a small bathroom renovation project. A powder room. Vanity, lighting and possibly flooring will be replaced. Toilet will remain. I am in Markham (Highway 7/407 and Markham Rd). I need help choosing a gorgeous vanity, sink and faucets. I want something elegant and unique. Interested?
1st Bathroom: tiles (shower area and room floor), build shower base (drain), waterproofing the shower area (L-shaped glass door), vanity lights and mirror, replacing the toilet bowl, repaint the bathroom wall, install towel bar and toilet paper holder, replace countertop, install shower and bathroom faucet, install exhaust fan
2nd bathroom: tiles (shower area and bathroom floor), install a free standing bath tub and plumbing, waterproofing the shower area, vanity lights and mirror, replacing the toilet bowl, repaint the bathroom wall, install towel bar and toilet paper holder, replace countertop, install shower and bathroom faucet, install exhaust fan, install a small chandelier on the ceiling above freestanding tub
I will be paying for the tiles, fixtures (countertop, shower glass door and panel, faucets, exhaust fans, etc). You, as a contractor are responsible for the labor hours, garbage disposal and cement, sand mixes, cement board, Schluter membrane, PVC pipe, etc.
En-suite: removal of current bathtub and replace with a new freestanding tub (with plumbing), replace all floor tiles, replace wall and floor tiles in the standing shower area, replace countertop to quartz (with sink and faucet), painting the walls(fixing drywalls)
2nd bathroom: conversion of bathtub to shower room (2 glass door and floor and wall tiles), replace countertop (with sink and faucet), painting walls(fixing drywalls), replacing shower panels
(Both bathrooms are not huge - as a matter of fact, they are probably 80-100 sq ft each.
I am responsible for all tiles, bathtub, faucet and shower panel, paint. I may also be responsible for the countertop and sink (if your price is good, I may go with yours)
I am the homeowner and looking at finishing the project within 8 days.
My budget listed below is mainly for labor as well as any supply cost.
