Our property sits about 4 ft higher than our neighbors behind us. The wall that holds our property from falling into our neighbors yard is falling down. The fence (currently iron) is falling over. We have a toddler who can't use his backyard to play for fear he will fall through the fence. We need this fixed asap!
I have 3 exterior projects that need to be completed. The first project is my fence. The fence post next to the gate has broken and must be replaced. I would like to use this as an opportunity to install a slightly wider gate and have the fence post replaced.
The second project is my front steps, which have settled and become crooked, plus I would like to install railings.
The third project is to install a retaining wall (approx 30 feet) on the east side of the property. I am hoping to find a company to complete the fence and the stonework projects, but would be open to separate companies if necessary.
Hi we are looking to put up a fence for our townhouse.
It will be for two neighbours. The approx. dimension are as follows:
the length across the backyards would be approx. 35-40 feet. The width of the fence would be approx. 15 feet x 2. The height of the fence is approx 6 feet. The fence is wooden.
It would have two gates-one for each neighbor. The budget is approx $1000-$1500 per neighbor.
Thx,
Mark
I have 2 metal gates, one double gate on one side of the house and a singe gate on the other. I've put a pool into my backyard and need to have springs attached to the gates so they can self close. There will need to be some repositioning of the gates so that they can swing inwards and the fence holding the double gate has shifted and requires realignment to close properly which would involve modifying the metal frame one of the gates hangs on so that it may be repositioned on the fence post. Both gates will also need to be lowered closer to the ground.
A quote is needed for installation (including material and labour) of 27 ft of wooden fence. The fence is to be installed on only one side of a small lawn at the back of a townhome. It will be attached to the brick wall at one end, and to the back-fence at the other end. The fence is to be a typical good neighbor fence, 6ft high, without lattice. Please also specify the amount of time needed for the installation.
The only access to the lawn for fence installation is through the home. Let me know if more information is needed.
Thanks.
I am having a concrete patio put in my backyard. I need a back fence replaced. length of fence is 50'. The fence is between my property and another property which slopes down. Two properties are not level to each other and I need a good strong fence support for concrete so patio and fence will not shift. Could i please get a rough quote.
Install Aprrox 70'of privacy fence on west side 6' board on board.
Install approx 50' of privacy fence on north side with gate 6' board on board
Install approx 25' of privacy fence on east side with gate and board on board.
I can remove chain link fence but you can quote on the removal as well
Hi, I have 6 fence posts that are rotted and need replacing PLUS 2 more that I would like pulled and disposed of and 2 new holes and posts installed in a slightly offset location.
Can you please quote and give me idea of timing when you could do the work. I live in Mississauga. All posts are 4x4 PT and fence is 6 ft board on board with lattice.
Brian
P.S. I also have neighbours that are interested in some similar repair for them . Thanks.
1 - Supply & Install Standard 6' Pressure Treated Wood fence, which includes excavation of holes to 4', installation of
4'*4'*10' posts, pouring of concrete, assembling of 5/8'*6'*6' boards privacy and installation of post caps as selected and supplied by customer. Includes two 3' gates and hardware
* please quote a linear foot price
2 - OPTIONAL. Add 6'*6'*10' posts for added strength (per linear ft of fence.)
We are needing a fence removed and installed. There are three sides to the fence each in different sizes.
Side #1 28 ft Side #2 25.5 ft and side #3 38ft.
We are sharing the cost of the fence with our three neighbours so we would require a free written referral so that all of the neighbours can view it.
We are looking for pressure treated wood, a 6 ft high fence, in either shadow box or board on board style. And posts that are 6 x 6. I will also need a gate with hardware.
Removal of 44 x 6 foot metal fences and replacing with wooden ones. Ideally we would like the fence sold so anyone bidding can make an offer for the metal fences . The replacement fencing will be pressure treated lumber 8 feet tall to afford a sound barrier. Approximately 265+ linear feet. We would like to retain the brick posts (shown in the photos) to be incorporated in to the new fence.
This is for a townhouse Condo subdivison. The fencing is to be used for sound and privacy barrier from Erin Mills Parkway. I need to get quotes to present to the Board for approval, but this project WILL be done.
Thanks.
Replace rotted posts in rear boundary fence. Most likely only 2 posts. Some replacement of lattice required also. All wood. Posts appear to be slotted with fence boards fitting into the slot. Fence approx 6 feet and lattice 2 ft. I am the property owner and will get neighbor to share cost, that will be my problem, but I need a good estimate.

Hello,
We would like a quote for the repair of our back yard fence. It is a wood fence shared with our neighbors. It has 4 poles leaning to our side that need to be replaced because they are damaged on the base.
Please, let me know if you need any other information.
Thanks,
Enrique
Require various repairs to my fence. Likely two/three posts to be replaced and new capping on a number of panels, as well as general work to tighten up other panels.
May also consider repairs to two gates.
Looking to get the work done fairly quick.
I am in West Mississauga, near 403 and Winston Churchill.
We have an approximate 40' section of a vertical slat privacy fence in our backyard. 5 x 4x4 posts snapped off yesterday at ground level in the winds, and 4 8' sections plus half a gate came down into our backyard. Repairs is required as follows: 1. Dig out and remove existing debri in each of the 4x4 holes. 2. Replace 4x4 and set concrete. 3. The 8' sections require a little repair, before being attached again the new 4x4's, like the lattice set back in the top 1' of the fence. This is not a big job, however, please respond as we back onto the Queensway greenbelt (Cawthra and Queensway) and it is quite open to the elements. Look forward to your reply and thank you.
Unfortunately, 150' of 6' cedar fence was done in 2 phases; approx. 50' from west to east one year, and 100' to meet with first 50' but going from east to west, later. Both sections run off the property line where they meet, by several inches. From my neighbour's side it looks pretty awful. I estimate about 8 to 11 panels need to be pulled into my side. (need your advice.) The entire fence is supposed to be on my property.
One problem is that my garage is only about 9" from the fence, so pulling and replacing need to be done from my neighbour's side. I think construction was originally done from their side.
There are other things that need correcting, as well.
Existing Fence Approximately 66 feet
with TEN 4"x4' posts
and Nine Panels -76" height by 88" wide
To replace all the posts with 6" x 6" new ones
Decide if the panels must be replaced or if they could be reused.
Quote both ways a)reuse panels
b)new panels
I have 120 feet of fence that needs to be repaired or replaced. The original installation was defective and the post holes were not deep enough, causing the fence to heave and is no longer safe.
I also have a hill in the rear of my backyard I would like leveled and and a retaining wall built and a 12' x 10'concrete pad poured for a shed. approx 24 feet deep and 6' high.
I would be most interested in one contractor doing all the work.
We're looking to do some repairs on our backyard fence. Please note that the two sides of the fence are wood and the back is chainlink.
We want to close the gap at the bottom of chainlink fence and the ground. The gap is currently big enough for pests to easily get into the backyard. We would like to block this gap off by building a sort of mini 'fence' that's about a foot or two high.
This 'fence' doesn't have to look like a regular fence with alternating slats. We're happy with a simple 'layered' fence that resembles a wall of a wooden planter.
Need to replace existing wooden fence which is approx. 144 ft in length (18 sections x 8 ft section). The last wind storm has the fence ready to fall down so the sooner the better for the work to be done. Like to replace with pressure treated wood with new post holes.
Ready to get the work done if the price is reasonable.
