The house is brand new. The wall we need the built ins on is 13 feet wide. There is a fireplace with mantle centered in the middle of the wall. The fireplace mantle is 5.5 feet long, 7.5 inches wide (0.625 feet) and 4.125 feet high. The wall length on the left side of the fire place is 45 inches (3.75 ft) and on the right side of the fireplace is 44.5 inches (3.71 ft). Because we have a 50" flat screen mounted on top of the fireplace, we were thinking of just building the built-ins the same height as the mantle (in other words the built-ins would be 4.125 feet high). Since we are using the built-ins to store media stuff like cable box and dvd player, the width of the built-in would have to be wider than the mantle. We were looking at having the width of the built-in be approx 18" wide.
In a nutshell, we need one built-in to be 44.5" x 18" and another built-in to be 45" x 18". Approximately 3 to 4 shelves per built-in.
Also our mantle has smooth corners. Very simple design. There are no sharp corners.
Hope this provides as much information as you need.
I would like to have built in cabinets on either side of my living room fireplace. Height is 8 feet, depth approx 14 inches, width approximately 76 inches. I want the cabinets painted white, closed storage below, open shelves above. I also want crown moulding on the top to blend in with existing ceiling crown, and a furniture look on the bottom.
I have four closet doors that will need to be measured, ordered and then hung. these will all be bifold doors. i would like a quote from start to finish including painting and handles and a quote without the painting and handles. Additionally we have two basement windonws that we would like a quote on replacing.
House is 1.5 years old, Main floor Library - ready for built-ins
Hardwood Floors and Gas fireplace already installed
Built-ins measure approximately 13' (wide) by 9' (high) by 16" (deep)
Design will have lower cabinets with raised panel doors (6 in total; 3 either side of the gas fireplace), open shelves above for books, panel above fireplace to display art work (Bead board backing)

As listed in the Project Peak Place - Removal of Closet I would like to build or have you build a Captains Bed for my daughter on this inside wall.
All wood - I have drawn some rough drafts of what i would like and for those who dont know what a captains bed is it sits really high and there are drawers and shelves underneath it. We are looking at around 7.5' x 3.5' and approx 3 -3.5' height with various drawers and shelves. I may want to carry some of the shelves up part of the wall and include a set of steps up one side that have drawers that pull up. I can show you some ideas on some websites but you would really have to come and see the space to get an idea of what i need - any help on this would be appreciated! Thanks guys! Mich
