Hello,
Our front step, which I believe is Limestone, is decaying and needs to be repaired\replaced. We're looking for ideas on what would be a good solution to this issue. As you can see in the pictures, we have flagstone laid on our walk-way and would like to maintain the shape of the stone that is currently in place.
Thanks,
JP
Extending existing interlocks in the front yard to extend the driveway. The work involves removal of few existing interlocking pavers and reuse, digging out some existing shrubs roots, excavation of soil and grading of soil as required, base gravel installation (4" coarse gravel) for the interlock extending area, and compacting a firm base, adding min 2" fine gravel, grading and compacting, supply and installing app 160SqFt of similar interlocks to enlarge the existing walkway to extend driveway along asphalt to concrete side walkout, applying polymeric sand etc to prevent weed growth. Disposal of all generated debris. Firm price, free no obligation estimate is required.
We've removed an existing patio and have built a rectangular unilock retaining wall with an approximate length of 30 feet and a width of 9 feet. Totaling approximately 270 square feet. We wish to have the patio stones installed using either the existing stones or possibly new stones. The new patio will be raised approximately 5-6 inches above the previous one eliminating the need for a step from the house and therefore will require quite a lot of screening or gravel.
There is wheel barrow access to our back yard as this is what we used to haul the uniblock wall stones. Time is an issue for us as we need this project to be completed within 2 weeks. The existing stones are located nearby however, we are open to the idea of using all new stone.
We are located in Pickering.
Thanks,
Larry
Hello,
I'm looking for an experienced contractor to re-finish my front entrance steps.
The current facing (flag stone) is coming off as it was improperly installed. We would like all the current flag stone removed and a new facing installed or stamped concrete finish.
The job is located in Pickering.
I have a large front veranda made of concrete that has had a small peopled surface applied to it, many years ago. The surface is coming off in places and has discolored. Have painted the surface multiple times with an oil based concrete paint. Interested in getting stone tiles applied on top in order to get a new finish. Veranda is about 22 ft by 6 ft. Would appreciate 'free quotes'.
The current vinyl siding on the upper level of the house is now leaky and run down looking. Its not a huge area to replace as it really only takes up a small portion of the second level of the house. We would like to replace it with stone cladding or very convincing vinyl stone cladding. I was looking at Versetta stone as an example.
The size of the area looks to be under 300ft2 but I could be wrong. That's just a guess. I'd need to measure it properly. I have attached pictures for a better idea. I understand that material costs with vary with quality so I'm looking for an average cost for materials and labour.
I'm also open to professional opinion on how that stone will look against the existing brick.
Thanks in advance.
Liam
