We're redoing our kitchen in the first few weeks of April and are looking to convert an open built-in shelf into a pull-out pantry. The pull-out pantry would be a max of 12" wide, 24" deep and around 94" high (90" + 4" for a toe kick/space for the pull-out mechanism). Ceilings are 8'8" (104") high in our kitchen. I've attached a couple of example images of what we're looking for. NOTE: the third image is of what the current shelf looks like, for reference.
We are planning on using Ikea Bodbyn doors and a left side cover panel from Ikea that match our new cabinetry for the exterior, so we'd need you to create the cabinet and interior pull-out system, and then attach the doors and cover panel we'll provide.
The cabinet could potentially be a lower pull-out (ex. 60" tall) with an upper hinge door (ex. 30") that just has regular pull out shelves, or it can be some other combination that works too. Ikea doors that are 12" wide only come in heights of 30" and 40", so we'd be working within those parameters.
We're hoping for a relatively quick turnaround time of a few weeks from start to finish.
Thanks for reading, and let me know if you think you can help.
I am looking to have my cabinet above my oven shortened to fit a microwave/range combo. I need the cabinet shortened to 24 inches. I already have shorter doors, so it is just the inner cabinet itself I need adjusted and it needs to be able to support the weight of a microwave range hood. I would also need the exhaust vent adjusted accordingly, likely a need damper as well. Please provide rough estimates on labour in reply. If you have not done this job before please do not reply.
Photos are attached.
I would like to have the space shown in the photo filled with an very simple built-in bookcase. The space is approx. 50.5" W x 100" H x 11" D.
The walls on two sides are drywall over brick. I am happy to paint to save money, or could be done in MDF. It will be white, ultimately. I think about six shelves would be about right - most books are hardcover/coffee table sized. I would like a simple trim to frame it, as well. Any ideas to make it slightly modern looking would be welcome. I am on a tight budget but want it to look nice!
I would like it done next week on Saturday.
Thank you for being as specific as possible in your reply!
