Just bought a house and need to make the kitchen open concept with living/dining. Home inspector confirmed wall is not structural, and can be knocked down.
Need:

2. Relocated light switch and power outlets and have one electrical outlet at the ceiling for lighthing over countertop.
Work to start on April 28, but need someone to estimate cost at the location sooner (early next week).
Please contact me directly
Thank you.

Hello,
We recently moved in to a condominium and want to divide a large living room for an extra room by adding a drywall and a door in between. The dimension of the wall is roughly 5.5m in length x 2.4m in height. The problem is that one side of the living room is covered by large windows connected to balcony and there is central heat duct (typical long rectangular shaped) going beneath, so one side of the new wall installing should somehow attached to this window + duct.
I wonder what's the best way for this job done and how much the optimal cost would be for the project? Thanks you !!
EDIT:
I think the wall could be attached to the window frame so it shouldn't be a problem.
Also the window that will be inside the new room being created need to be replaced with sliding window as it is not openable now.

We are looking for an individual to paint the main floor unit in our rental property. We had completed all the electrical in the property and have patches through out the main floor unit. We have a new tenant moving in November 1st and would like to have this completed as soon as possible. We also have a patch under the window frame that will need to be re-drywalled and plastered. We are not sure exactly what happened but their was a hole left behind from the previous tenant. We require the foyer, the living room, the bedroom and the kitchen be painted. The main floor is about 700 square feet. We require an individual that is experienced with painting and drywalling/plastering. Our budget is about $1000. This must include material. One coat should suffice. Patches are completed and just need to be sanded down. No baseboard, doors or trim are required to be painted. Quality paint is preferred. Plastering/Drywalling required is about 3X4 feet.
I am looking for a contractor to do a small job at my new office studio. I need a 12 foot wide x 8 feet tall interior dividing wall constructed to divide the office space. I also need an 8 feet wide x 8 feet tall dividing wall erected in a separate area of the space.
I have concrete floors and cement block walls around the perimeter of the 700 sq. foot space. Walls need to be built, drywalled and primed so that I just have to paint them. Looking for someone to do this in the next week (by Jan 5th). My ceilings are about 14 feet tall, so the walls will not reach the ceiling, I need space dividing walls only.
I have a lot of drywall work and a bit of new wiring that needs to be completed for my house. The drywall is located along the stairway walls and on my kitchen ceiling.
The work must have a professional look. I can provide you with more work and contact info for friends and relatives that need work done as well to keep you busy a long time. I will also be obtaining bids from a number of companies so if you're looking to quote a unreasonable price for the work then please do not contact me. I am looking to hire somebody to do an excellent job at a fair price who is interested in finding a lot of work and will be kept busy for a long time.
Need Subs for existing projects.
Prefer trades that are singularly focused but will consider those that have a quality end product and priced for contractors.
We have currently 2 projects we need the following

Owner of a 1700 sqft 1927 solid brick home. It was recently rewired, but now we would like to replace all lath and plaster with closed-cell spray foam insulation and drywall.

I need pricing per sqft. for hanging drywall, taping and mud! I need this job done from A-Z. There is approx. 14500 sqft. of actual wall (this is not the sqft. of the house) (not including basement) (includes ceiling sqft.) This is for a two story home. If I am happy with you, you will get the basement as well.

I have a semi-detached house in Toronto. Floor size is approx 1000 sqft. House has been demo'd. We need one wall framed (approx 300 ft), insulated and drywall the entire house (1000 sqft area).
We have already got the run around from a lot of "wannabe contractors" so now the reno is behind schedule. Please only respond to this ad if you are a professional drywall installer. We do not want a GC or handymen. We want a man/woman who can give us a firm price and get the job done within the shortest possible time. It's hot outside so drywall tape and compound should dry quickly. The frame/drywall delay is delaying electrician and the flooring so serious responses only please.
PS. We can supply the drywall but we are also open to going with a tradesman/woman with their own suppliers. Please quote both labour only and the inclusive price.
Thanks,

Patch and paint will need to be done "after hours" weekdays after 6:00pm or weekends, and needs to be dry by 8am the following week work day.
96 sq ft bedroom wall which would require removal of existing 2 sheets of 5/8" and reinstallation of 2 sheets of 5/8" Quiet Roc etc. Project would include removal, disposal, purchase, installation taping/mud, prime and painting and may include insulation installation. The room has 11' ceilings and would require plastic at 2 doorways and covering for closet wall, as well as builder paper to protect flooring from the entry into and including the bedroom (room is approx 12' x 12').
I am the owner of the loft which is approx. 800 sq ft and would have to work around 2 ppl living in the loft and loft rules of working hours between 9 am- 5 pm. There is a service elevator on site and 2 large overhead doors/bays for receiving delivery/dropping off supplies.
There is very little sound prevention between out bedroom and our neighbours. Would like to install some quietrock on the shared wall between the two houses.
The shared wall in the bedroom is approx 13'wide by 10' high with a cathedral ceiling.
Would like to know cost of material and cost of installation.
The prior owner of my condo cut out the upper half of the wall of the second bedroom (looking onto the kitchen). I'd like the wall rebuilt so that the second bedroom is fully enclosed. The dimensions of the opening are: 118 1/2" wide by 64 1/2" tall, and the full height of the wall (from floor to ceiling) is to be: 119".

Hi there.
We would like to have the basement, first floor and attic of our house rewired. It currently has knob and tube. The 2nd floor has already been rewired. At the same time we would like to have old plaster walls removed and replaced with new drywall. The house is old (130 years old), and small.
I live in a condo that's 45 years old, bought it 3 years ago. The condo itself is on the 4th floor. The wall between the bathroom and walking closet has moisture seeping in inside the walking closet from the bathroom. On the other side of the damage there is a bathtub and a tiled wall. The damaged spot is about 1 meter large. The paint started to bubble 10 months ago, then a large bump developed and cracked. The drywall behind is mushy like sand and was placed on a metal mesh that seems to be rusty. I repaired the caulking but it look like there is still moisture seeping in after showers.
My home is semi-detached and the party-wall throughout the home is not insulated for sound/fire. Able to hear the neighbors clearly.
Currently the drywall has styrofoam inside the party-wall, (not sure why that was done).
Would like a best guess quote on how much it would cost to remove the current drywall and styrofoam and replace with Roxul Safe n' Sound and add the least expensive QuietRock 1/2" drywall.
I do not know the square footage, but the main floor is 51 feet in length and 2nd floor is 38 feet with both floors having 8 foot ceilings.
Cost is an issue and would also like opinion if the Roxul Safe'n Sound would be enough to block neighbor noise like talking, yelling, footsteps, music etc.
Thanks
