I would like to remove the builder tile in my condo bathroom and replace it with a nicer/more interesting tile. I'm looking at a slate tile or slate-look porcelain, leaning towards a chevron or herringbone pattern 4"x12" or 6"x20" tiles, which would replace the 12" x 24" ivory tiles that are currently in there. The bathroom floor takes up an area that is roughly 5' x 7'. The vanity and toilet would need to be removed. I will purchase the tiles and grout myself. This is the first step to a piecemeal update on this bathroom because budget is a concern but hoping to have the floor done by end of October or early November.
I could use help with retiling a shower stall, as well as several general jobs inside the condo that require a handyman.
Some of the odd jobs inside my condo include, changing door handles, changing plastic electric wall sockets etc. I have already purchased the products needed for this project.
I have taken a bunch of photos that I can email, but, at this exact moment, I'm having a tuff time uploading them to my computer. I can email a few pics, providing I get this little challenge solved if this would be helpful to you.
Please feel free to call at €œany€ time, (morning, noon, night, real late night), your calls is welcome. 7 days a week.
If you happen to get my voicemail, please leave a message.
Ideally, i'm hoping to get help as soon as.......today/saturday, and or Sunday or Monday.....as......i'm hoping to list this condo on MLS this coming week.
Let me know, & again, feel free....to call.....at any time....any hour. charles

I have an 80 year old house in North Toronto with a carpeted powder room (only 5 feet by 2'8") that I would like to have tiled. I have all of the tiles and grout and a tile cutter already. There is a toilet and pedestal sink that will likely have to be lifted in order to install the tiles. Must have experience with tile installation.
I have a job that's been abandoned, and there is a small amount of tiling remaining. There are about 10 square feet of subway tiles to be laid on the wall as a backsplash behind a bathroom vanity, and about 70 square feet of vinyl peel-and-stick to be glued onto a laundry room floor. The wall and floor are already prepared, and I have the tiles. I'm looking to have this job done as soon as possible.
