My elderly mother has sustained a sevely broken leg, which has left her mobility challenged. A Previous hip replacement on the other side also makes mobility a problem. We were looking at those tubs with a door. If a unit with a shower were available we would alos like a price on that option. The colour is to be either white or bone. The current tub is a jet bathtub that is to be removed and relocated to my sisters house approximately 2 km away.
The home to be renovated has just been purchsed with a possession date of May 23, 2008. I would like this renovation to commence as soon as possible after this date.

Hello,
I have been planning on doing a renovation for both my upper (very small full bathroom) and main floor. The house was built in 1939 and is a cape cod style. I had the hardwood floors replaced for main and upper level in 2014 as well as paint and walls and some had to be taken down in home office. I have purchased the fixtures(vanities, taps) as I wanted to renovate but not gut the bathrooms due to the high cost. I understand that in many cases it is recommended. I would like to get an estimate and happy to pay for one if needed. I can send pictures if needed and would help.
Thank you. Kind regards,
Avril
I would require someone to remove existing tile in a tub/shower and re-drywall the tub surround, replace existing tub and remove old tub as well as the fixtures for the tub/shower, replace toilet, vanity 42" with single sink, remove stick on vinyl tile and replace subfloor and finish with new vinyl of a small bathroom approximate size 96 sq ft. We would like a price for labour only as we'd purchase all materials needed to renovate.
I need to complete a bathroom Reno. The job would include removing the old tub and tiling, opening up a box above the current shower, removing the floor, fixing the floor underneath the toilet that was leaking, removing/re-installing existing vanity, light fixture and mirror, re-installing floor.
Renovate bathroom, remove tub, toilet, wallboard. Insulate outside wall. maintain original woodwork. Need a large low threshold shower put in that has multiple shower outlets a sit-down bench, grab bars in bathroom for disabled assist. Glass wall with door on entrance side of shower Tile walls, tile shower, tile floor all should be extremely waterproof. Have tile, reusing vanity and sink, have new toilet. Will include Demo, See pictures below.
Project should be completed within a month. be minimally invasive on rest of house.
The house is in Welland. It is a bungalow and the bathroom in on the main level. The bathroom is 9'x7'. currently, there is nothing in the bathroom except subflooring, drywall and pipes sticking out of the floor and walls. We have selected the tub that we would like to install - "Zen tub - left drain" from Rona - but the pipes will need to be moved and the drywall around the tub needs to be replaced will proper backer board (other waterproofing methods acceptable too), I am flexible with the amount of work to be done to the bathoom. Anywhere from a simple tub installation with the replacement of the backer board, to tiling the shower area (we have the tile already), finishing the marble floor (we have the marble tile) and installing the toilet and vanity (we have both pieces).
We are available on weekends only.
Thank you!
Laura
House is more than 100 years old. Need to remove old lath and plaster, knob and tube wiring. I want to install new electrical wiring and fixtures, exhaust fan, water and mold resistant drywall. Replace window. The clawfoot tub, toilet and sink remain in same location, but want to update plumbing, basin with a vanity and update the shower kit. Remove medicine cabinet and put in mirror, replace flooring with either new linoleum or manufactured hardwood, install wainscotting and paint room. There are some built in cabinets that can be removed during construction but I want them to be put back in place when job is done.
Scope of work is as follows:
-Removal of existing bathtub and supply and install builders series bath tub.
-Rip out and disposal of existing drywall complete form walls where dry wall is defective causing Mold and Water leakage
-Supply and install all necessary Mold / Waterproof Drywall and insulations where required
-Retile tub/shower surrounds area with builder’s series white ceramic tiles and grout
-Re caulk and grout Tub/shower surrounds area
-Clean up job site and remove all unused materials
I need budget cost for the above project , upon receipt of an acceptable estimate I will make neccessary arangement to view property as we are at the planning and budgeting phase.
Please note final prices subject to physical site inspection e-mail your estimate no phone please. I would prefer company located in the Wellan, St. Catherine or surrounding area.
Yes, my husband and i are looking to get a rough estimate on bathroom renovations for our main bathroom upstairs. The house we live in is about 35 years old, 5 bedroom backsplit. The bathroom currently has a counter top with sink (cupboards below the counter top) toilet and full tub shower. Our bayhroom window is found inside the shower. It's disgusting actaully. The wooden framing around the window has got to be the original framing which is made from wood. Needless to say, it's turning into black mold. This projext is more of my concern than my husband's. I believe that the one wall in the bathroon (the one that shares the shower faucets & is also opposite the counter top) is rotting away due to humidity issues. There is no ventilation installed to prevent further damage.
I would like to enlarge the bathroom enough to accomodate a jaccuzi tub and I'm interested in knocking the rotten wall down to enlarge the overall size of the bathroom. The room next to the bathroom is my storage bedroom for extra clothing etc. I'd still like to keep a room in this area however I want to cut its size in half in order to expand our bathroom. The area of the bathroom now is 48 square feet. The bedroom next to it measures 125.54 square feet. There would be about 66.66 square feet that I would like to utilize for the updated bathroom. In total I'm looking to replace the tub with a jaccuzi tub (larger sized, for min. 2 people), removing counter top and replacing with a pedistal sink, new window, storage shelving for linens & bathroom items that would start on the floor level right up to the ceiling more or less. i think that's about it. i appreciate your time in giving me a rough quote for the work that would be involved in making this happen for us.

We need to replace some old Barker-tile with a low-cost tub-surround. We are looking to do this asap. It is in a rental property so we are trying to keep our cost down. We would like to keep the existing faucet--just replace old tile with a new tub-surround. We just don't have time to do this project now--so will be contracting out--something we haven't had to do before.
We have just retired and moved to Welland and are looking for someone to install vinyl plank flooring over existing linoleum in main bathroom. Approximately 70 square feet. Remove old vanity and faucets and install new vanity and faucets. Remove toilet and put back after floor is done. All materials are purchased and on site.
Thanks
All plumbing needs to be redone. Exisitng plumbing is not to code. Plumbing is accessible in the basement. Top floor bathroom needs to be gutted and a shower and toilet and tiles need to be replaced. I already have a sink that can be used. Main floor bathroom needs to be gutted and replaced with jucuzzi tub, vanity, toilet and tiles. I will also need to redo some of the duct work in the basement as the upstairs, 1/2 story does not currently have a cold air return. This can be accomplished through the gutted bathroom. There is also an old chimney that will need to come out. I already have a roofer giving me q quote to fix the hole in the roof.
Depending on the cost, I would also like to knock down the wall between the kitchen and dining are and the wall between the main floor bedroom and office. Both are load bearing walls. This will create an open concept in a now poorly laid out space.
Also depending on the cost, I would like to remove the old cupboards in the kitchen. They are only along one side of the wall and are approximately 8' in length. I already have a cost on replacing the cupboards.
I have a small bathroom that needs to be completely redone. The vanity is brand new and can be re-used but I need a new toilet, tub/shower, and flooring and baseboards. The pipes are currently loose and the existing jacuzzi tub and tiles need to be removed. I am assuming this will also mean drywall replacement on at least the one small wall.
Previously started by another handyman who I had to fire because he left the bathroom a mess. I need the shower completed, tub is in, not sure if it is in right. New vanity installed and water meter hidden somehow, Tiled around the shower and a linen closet completed. Also, he tore down part of a wall that I need to have built again, tore into drywall that I never asked him too. He also tore up some of my ceramic tile which I will need replaced. I also need the living room and 2 small bedrooms floors replaced with laminate flooring. I already have the laminate for the living area. I would like you to come to see the damage of the bathroom and see if you can fix it. The job sounds a lot larger than it is but you can tell me how much it will cost to fix it. If you can come sometime before 3 that would be great. Not here tomorrow or the weekend but will be home for Monday through the rest of the week.
We have 3 places with water problems, a sink and two bathrooms.
1. plexi pipe under the laundry sink is broken and leaks whenever there is water running. Basement laundry sink, all plastic, needs replacing.
2. upstairs main bathroom tiles around single handle faucet are old and water penetrates. Access to bathtub is easy through a back close from a bedroom. Tiles are 30 years old. Water has been going down to kitchen ceiling, if long showers are taken. Very short showers are ok. We want a patch up if possible not to redo the wall or all the tiles.
3. Ensuite shower in MB has again 30 + year tiles and the window sill inside the shower has grout missing from the very small tiles around the window sill. We want them repaired or sealed. No other tiles seem affected, only the window sill. This leak is recent, a few weeks max. Water does not normally fall on the window sill but it can.
House is rented, landlord pays for repairs. So no major renovation needed just repairs.
