Dear sir,
Just purchased a property.
The buidling size is 4300 sq/ft.
We would like to convert the property to 2 retail bays of approxmiately 2150 sq/ft each bay.
One bay would be for my print franchisee and one would be leased out to another business.
Can you get me a price quote on construction drawings and renderings , then a quote for the actual construction.
Lets start with the quote for the drawings first.
Thanks
Austin
Hi,
We're interested in getting a quote for a full home renovation. The home is a two-storey 2,600 sq.ft home with a 620 sq.ft basement and an attached two-car garage.
New flooring/windows throughout, electrical/plumbing where necessary, new doors where necessary, also the removal of a structural wall is desired to create an open concept space - we understand this will require the installation of a structural beam. Some walls/ceiling will also need to be replaced - mud/tape/sand/paint throughout. The garage might also require structural repairs.
There is also cold-zone structure that may need to be demolished and a deck built in it's stead, or properly converted into a warm-zone.
Thank you.
Just inquiring about the feasibility of converting a single attached garage to a gym or office. Although the garage is attached, there is no access to the main house. The garage is 12X24 feet and seems stable, with no movement in 20 years.
Any info on how feasible this is would be appreciated.
-Basement will have its own ventilation. Water and electricity only will be shared by 2 dwellings. Furnace will be used by main and 2nd floor
-Heat basement with electricity.
-Create a separate door in basement with exterior 3 stairs and drainage for that new exterior door entry.
-To install soundproof of ceiling using safe-N-sound, resilient channel, gypsum, ...
To separate mechanical room and kitchen with an anti fire wall and an anti fire door
To built kitchen (pluger for ordinary fridge, microwave, stove, toast, suitch, cabinet, etc ...
To install a superposable washer and dryer as weel its exhaust in pantry on main floor.
I've crawlspace about 16'x 6.5' under the dining area, it has bare ground covered with a vapor barrier. I've removed the old insulation and was going to put concrete on the base to join with concrete walls to make it secure before putting new insulation. however, my wife wants to check if this crawlspace can be dug out and included with the rest of the basement and converted into a home salon and how much will that cost.
Construction of a ~22x24 detached garage in alleyway including:
-clearing of grass & topsoil.
-excavation, grading, base and sub grade prep
-concrete slab
-insulation and vapor barrier
-hardie board exterior vs vinyl siding costs
-one window (~2x4 size), one standard man-door, & garage door.
-new/separate 100amp electrical service to garage (o/h lines in alleyway)
-permitting
I have several projects.
project one is restoring a rental property; bathroom wall repair/carpet repair/door repair/painting.
Project two is wiring in smoke detectors and emergency lighting at three residential group homes.
Project three is installing lentil support beams in an 8 foot concrete opening between duplexes at two seperate locations
Project four is some general home renovation repair; flooring/painting/drywalling/moving water lines/etc.
We are a non-profit group that has received funding for home purchases and remodeling. We need to finish this work in order to receive a full operating license as opposed to a temporary license, so time is my largest concern.
Residential home 1900 ft2. Exterior regrading needed due to soil settling, to encourage drainage away from exterior of the house. Resod if necessary in affected areas. No current water ingress.
Would like window wells installed on the basement window exteriors to reduce risk of water ingress at the basement windows. No current leaks.
We are moving to Saskatoon June 28.
Hello
I am looking for a General Contractor to assist with the installation of some fitness equipment in Saskatoon. We are planning to install weight lifting racking to our facility. This will include affixing the racking to the wall and concrete floor. We are looking for a contractor to perform this aspect of the installation. I would like to arrange for a time to have a person provide an estimated cost to do so.
Thanks,
Fred
We have a 30 year old house that needs upgrades. We want to run laminate flooring through our kitchen/dining room/living room (main floor approx. 450 sq. ft.).
We have baseboards and casings purchased and painted that need to be installed on two levels (add about 225 sq. ft. to above).
We would also like to look into partially opening a wall up between the dining room and living room.
Removal and replacement of counter tops may be needed as well (in kitchen and main bath).
Old Garage, in disrepair. Wasn't maintained by original owners. Definite mold removal and possible asbestos in ceiling for removal. Need estimate for new roof, some framing if need to be replaced due to mold, siding. Cement Pad has major cracks and uplifting within Garage. Estimate for repair breakdown, or if tear down and new garage needed.
We would like some estimates on a garage conversion. The current garage is a double attached, approximately 24' x 25'. It is drywalled, probably insulated (though likely inadequately) but not heated. There is a short flight of concrete stairs which go down into the basement of our bilevel. We are outgrowing our living space, and feel that all the garage currently does is collect junk, due to the layout we find parking in it inconvenient. My husband is quite handy, and wouldl ike to undertake a lot of the reno himself, though realistically we know that there are things that are outside of our abilities involved here.
While ultimately we would like to turn the space into a kitchen/dining/living room combination, all we are currently looking for is the cost involved in making it a livable part of the house. Essentially: insulating, hvac, windows/doors, necessary plumbing and electrical changes and a subfloor. The one major change involved here would be an addition of a staircase from the garage up to the main floor of our bilevel. We currently have two single garage doors. One will need to be framed and changed to a single entry type door, the other we would like to change to a double garden door, or sliding glass. There is also a single entry door to the back yard, which I would like to see converted to a large window. Because we would eventually like to install a kitchen, I would like to have the necessary plumbing roughed in.
We are looking for a pretty approximate dollar amount here to help us determine if this project is even realistic. We appreciate any estimates, or advice.
We are looking to extend our house in one are back into our yard by 10 feet. The width would be between 11 and 14 feet depending on design. When this addition is added we would like to extend the roof of it and creat a covered deck as well.
Our home was build in 2008 and is in Briarwood. It would have a stucco exterior. Flooring would be either hardwood or ceramic tile.
We would also like a large bar built in the same general area of our house.
We would prefer to work with a company that has some professional design experts to give us some more ideas.
I want to renovate my 1440 sq. ft. bungalow (built in 1977) in the Wildwood area of Saskatoon and possibly build a first floor over one half of the house. I have the funds to carry out renovations on the main floor now, and will either apply for a bank loan if it is feasible to build the first floor or put the renovated home up for sale. This is a serious inquiry.
Here are the renovations required:
--hardwood flooring
--strippining of wall papers and paintingof walls throughout the house
--main bathroom floor, tile, cabinet and fittings replacement
--Kitchen modification (to accommodate gas stove and oven) and cabinet, floor and counter replacement
--Windows to be repaired or replaced
Possible First Floor Addition
Hi. We have a 4 level split and are looking to have someone come by and tell or show us options that we can do. We have a small full bath on the top floor and a half bath on the 3rd level floor. We need to know or get some one to help us with some changes like possibly putting a shower in the basement and possibly opening up from the 3rd level tv room down into the basement. Thanks in advance. Gord D.

I am needing a building quote for a University class called Small Business Management. If you do not have time to respond I understand. I am just needing a rough quote so I can put something into the financial aspect of the project.
I am wondering if it pays to renovate the existing structure or to build a new one.
The house was built in 1958. The living area is 1635 sq. ft. (It has an upstairs with 2 bedrooms)
The main floor would be the coffee shop. I would need one large room downstairs, with a space sectioned off for a Kitchen area and a counter top for people to pay. We would need a washroom on the main floor too.
Materials: I would need something durable that can withstand a lot of traffic (lots of people coming/ going, table and chairs being moved etc.) also something stain resistant would be great too.
The lot is irregularly shaped...50 ft frontage increases to 88 ft at back. Depth is 158 ft on one side and 150 ft on the other.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
I just bought a new house and it needs some fixing up. It has brown panelling in the basement, and one wall in the living room, which i want to replace with drywall. I need to build a new fence in the back yard, as well as a deck. I would like to replace a window in the dining room with a door so i have direct access to the back yard. I am going to be painting the whole house and replacing floors, but that i can do by myself. I really just need some help getting the big jobs done. I was wondering if you could give me a quote on about what that would cost. I have a limited budget with my mortgage to do the renos, so i would like to stay on the somewhat cheaper side. I can provide all the product needed, just need someone to do it for me. If you could get back at me, that would be wonderful.
