We are looking for someone who could do some minor fix-it jobs in our home. We are looking for someone who can replace a shower base and re-tile in our main upstairs bath. Also someone who can re-drywall and texturize our small laundry room ceiling. We also need a sliding pocket door replaced with a standard swing door. We are planning to sell our home and would like the work done as soon as possible as we would like to put our house on the market by May 1st.
We are looking for a general handyman who can take care of odd repairs on our rental properties and our own home. These might include faucet/small plumbing repairs, replacing light fixtures, drywall repairs, painting, fence and gate repairs. We would like to find someone who charges an hourly rate and can assess damage and find solutions independently. Rate is not important as long as you have your own transportation, can make your own reasonable material purchases (of course, we will pay collected receipts) and are able to make quality repairs.

1. Would like to replace the inside doors and closet doors and door hardware in our home (frames are good). 5 single doors, 1 double door (off master bedroom), 5 double closet doors, 2 single closet doors. I can have the doors delivered (unless you also sell doors) just need them installed. They may need to be trimmed to suit .

3. Three bedrooms and hall require new baseboards (3 1/"2 high) to be installed.
We recently had a new garage door put on, but the contractor misjudged to door opening and put on a 8ft door when he should have put on a 7ft door. He told us that he would not be able to install a new garage door opened as there wasn't enough room now, and that we would have to get a side mount garage door opened, which is fine, but now we need a contractor to provide us with a side mount opner and install it
I just bought a kitchen which needs to be disassemble. It is a floor display model from the store. The kitchen cabinets have lights which require a licensed electrician to remove them. Fridge (as seen in the pictures) is not included with the kitchen.
The quartz kitchen countertop is attached to the walls as well. The kitchen cabinets is being attached to the walls by a couple of screws.
Please let me know if you able to assist with this project, your availability and service fee estimate.
Thank you
I have a small rental condo in Calgary NW just off of Nosehill Dr. and am looking for someone to do a number of small jobs such as replacing the countertop in the kitchen and bathroom. Install a new light in the dinning room and fix the dripping taps in the kitchen and bathroom. There is no one leaving in the condo at the moment and entry can be arranged.
I own a dowtown SW condo that was renovated approximately 8 years ago by Sable Developments. My kitchen has oak cabinets. A friend of mine who has worked in the cabinet industry for over 10 years has told me that the melamine is blown out on the hinge plates. I would like someone to repair it as soon as possible. I would prefer emailed estimates, please see attached photos.
Thank you
Alicia
We are looking for a handyman to help us with various small projects around the house, and possibly some bigger projects down the road. The house we have is a bit of a "fixer upper" built in 1978, and my wife and I are new to owning a house. I'd like to learn to do a lot of stuff on my own, so I'm looking more for some guidance and help rather than someone to take it all on. Some examples of what I'm looking for are:
- repairing loose vinyl siding
- replacing a storm door and door frame
- repairing squeeky hardwood floors
- repairing a wooden fence
- replacing an outdoor tap
- replacing some baseboards
- bathroom renovations
- also, looking for advice/recommendations on things that can/should be improved.
I am hoping to find someone who can help out for a few hours here and there, mostly on evenings and weekends. I plan on doing these projects over the next couple years as we can afford to do them.
I need a handyman who can help us with general little unfinished chores. A sign that fell off, mirrors installed, grout replacement, light fixture changing, board installation. It's all the little things that are left behind and that we don't have time to get to. It will probably be a week's work, please contact me as some of the undone jobs are now lingering for more than a year. :-(

We need to change a stretch of existing duct work from 9" diameter to 12" diameter. The ductwork runs for about 45 feet and includes 4 elbows - starting at a fume hood and traveling to the roof of our warehouse. The duct is easily accessible as it is not enclosed in walls. We also have a forklift and platform to enable staff to reach the ducting. Stainless steel or thermoplastic duct would be acceptable. We will also be installing a fiberglass blower suited to 12" inlet/outlet connections.
We have approx. 800 sq. ft. of stucco ceiling in our 1970's home. This ceiling was last painted about 20 yrs ago and is on the main floor of a bi-level. This is a smoker's house and will require "good" coverage. I have heard of a primer/sealer for these types of jobs, but know nothing about these products. We are not wealthy so cost is a big consideration, but quality is of utmost importance.
Thanks
We would like to paint the current surface of our house. It is a 1970's sheet metal siding composition that is lemon yellow. I am wondering if it can be simply painted over with a modern color. There is cedar trim around the windows and trim that wraps around the house itself. If you could provide a free estimate for the cost of painting, that would be appreciated.
Kind regards,
Curtis
We have the pet door kit all ready to go, but lack the tools (and skills!) to install it.
It needs to be installed into an exterior door, either the back one (glass) or front (metal, raised pattern.)
I am willing to pay extra to get this done as soon as possible, as my kitty is disrupting my sleep.
Thank you.
