This will be a complete mobile home renovation inside and out.
I would like to get started a.s.a.p.
dry wall ceilings, and walls, flooring, all except living room. bathroom repairs, all door jambs, New roof on a 14 by 70 single wide 12 /2 pitch along the length, repairing an add-on porch, a new deck at front door, power washing the out side,
Ceiling:
We would like stucco put on the interior of our home, we have removed a couple of walls and now there is a "line" where the old wall was. All that has been done to the ceiling is painting and some drywall added to try to hide the line. The home is between 50-55 years old.
Potential work to be done:
Drywall or just tape and mud drywall in basement. We have started this already but have not completed it. Depending on pricing on which way we go with this one.
Our new home is estimated to be completed in April or May so we have some time but not alot and would like to have prices to approach the bank with. (There will be no issue with recieving the funds, we just prefer to have a number for them and ourselves to help in the asking price for our home)
Potenial work Painting the upstairs of the home. I currently have colored walls (green) and that makes it harder to sell the home. If your company is willing towork with us for all the work to be done for a good price we would be more then happy to give all the work to one.
Had a leak from upstairs bathroom, which has been fixed. Had to water damage to ceiling below. Had to cut out damaged drywall on the ceiling. Need to have the Drywall replaced, and the texturing re-done. Looking for a contractor that is able to complete the drywall and texturing. Willing to discuss replacing texturing of entire ceiling and/or painting
Hi there,
Does your company do plumbing and drywall?
I have a home in the Millwoods area (Ekota) and I just had some work done in my laundry room. Unfortunately the contractor doesn't do drywall repairs, so I would need a qualified contractor to complete the drywall and put back a vapour barrier covering the wall insulation.
I would also like some plumbing to be reconfigured. I currently have two sets of taps that I want to be built into the wall (see attached pictures). One set would be connected to a laundry outlet box located to the left side of the window near where the 120V and 240V plugs are located (pictured in Laundry pic 1). I need a diverter installed inside the wall under the window as well to eventually connect a sink to the same set of taps.
Additionally, if an outside vent for the dryer could be installed to the left of the window as well, that would be appreciated.
The second set of taps I want lowered to connect a dishwasher (Laundry pic 4). Perhaps another outlet box would be needed for that too (I'm open to ideas).
The laundry room is located on the lower level. Would someone be able to give me a quote for a breakdown of the costs of labour, parts, and to finish the room?
Let me know if you have any questions. I will be available some time in the early new year for a contractor to take a look. Let me know what your availability is for quotes and project start dates.
Thank you for your time!
Torrie
I'm replacing the old cracked ceilings in my 1929 vintage house, 940 sq ft, with drywall and need a handyman or tradesman to do the job. Some of the rooms have crown molding that will need to be removed and replaced (ideally saved and replaced) in a couple of rooms (DR & LR) and a couple decorative light crowns (the proper term escapes me).
Also investigating skimcoating the horsehair plaster walls.
Timeline is end of July. Thanks!
I need some carpet, drywall, painting and finishing on 3 rooms 12x11fts and one of the rooms needs levelled underline flooring. I would like a quote for them. see the attachment for details. If you would like to visit the place send me an email with at least 2 options, preferent in the mornings and weekends.
Interested in developing new relationships with subtrade firms in the Edmonton area, principally for insurance-related work. We are especially interested in subtrade firms who are skilled in drywall, painting and finished carpentry.
The opportunity is especially suited to contractors who have previous building renovation/restoration experience and who are sensitive to the needs of home owners or tenants who continue to live on site during the restoration process.
Please only respond if your firm has its own vehicles, is registered with WCB and carry a minimum $2.0M in liability coverage.
If this is of interest, please tell us more about your firm and respond with your email address, telephone number and client references.
Many thanks
Hi there.
I have some drywall patchwork & paint repairs that I need to be done on my rental property. I need an estimate before August 1st and I need the work completed before August 15th. Its a total of 22 screw holes & 4 areas of dry wall damage from sticky hooks on walls, property is located in Millwoods(Edmonton) area
Two exterior walls in our basement were damaged by leaking water; the source is now fixed, and the drywall needs to be replaced. I would prefer the use of mold-resistant drywall.
We would like a complete job; someone who will supply their own materials, remove the leftover drywall and vapor barrier, and finish with the mudding. It is two walls in a relatively small room, 150-200 square feet.
Thanks!
This project consists of 2 parts:
Part 1 - Installation of soundproofing materials to the ceiling of two basement bedrooms. New ceilings can be flat (without texture)
Bedroom 1 - 10'6" x 14'7"
- Cut out drywall around the ceiling heat vent to try and secure the vent. There are popping sounds in the upstairs bedroom and I think it is because the upstairs vents are uninsulated and therefore expanding and contracting. Investigation required. There are two furnaces in the home so the ventilation ducts are separate.
- Supply and install soundbar on ceiling
- Supply and install Sonopan panels on ceiling - see this link for detailsclick here Supply and install drywall on ceiling
- Mud and tape ceiling joints, as well as corners to walls.
- Prime and paint ceiling
- Add extension to ceiling light box and ceiling vent register, reinstall both.
Bedroom 2 - 10'8" x 12'11" (there is a drop ceiling that may not need to be opened)
- Supply and install soundbar on ceiling
- Supply and install Sonopan panels on ceiling
- Supply and install drywall on ceiling
- Mud and tape ceiling joints, as well as corners to walls.
- Prime and paint ceiling
- Add extension to ceiling light box and ceiling vent register, reinstall both.

Part 2: New flooring/baseboards for both main and ensuite bathrooms
Main floor size: 34.4 sqft
Ensuite floor size: 16 sqft
For both main and ensuite upstairs bathroom floors:
- Remove both toilets and all baseboards with the intention of reinstalling the toilet in ensuite only, after new flooring.
- Supply and install click style vinyl plank flooring over existing floor in both bathrooms. (estimated $3-$4/sqft)
- Supply and install new toilet in main hallway bathroom (current one is very old)
- Supply and install new baseboards and door framing for both bathrooms
- Install new bathroom fan in the main hallway bathroom supplied by myself (I bought the Breeze Easy 100 CFM from costco).
Let me know if you can do Part 1, Part 2 or both!
Thanks,
Hello,
I have a basement development which i have started steel studs for exterior and wood studs for interior walls.
I am now at the drywall stage and would like someone to come in and hang the board, (Taping and mudding to be done by others)
950 Sq-ft
5 yrs old unfinished basement, (clean).
Ceiling to be left open (for T-bar)
1 Bathroom
1 bedroom
1 laundry room
1 large living room area
I have a 70 year old small 3 story walk up Apartment Building with guardrail made of wood on top of a pony wall made of drywall. The rails need to be raised to Alberta Building Code from 26 inches to 36 inches. I am looking for some suggestions and a quote for some one to do this work.
Call so we can meet to show you the actual project.
Jim
We have a small area that needs to be drywalled; two walls at a total of about 250-300 sq.ft. Some of the drywall is still attached; it was badly removed and the vapour barrier got damaged in the process. I suspect mold in one area due to a possible foundation crack and minor water leakage. The room is empty, with a concrete floor, so no need to move/cover any furniture.
Hi, I'm looking for someone to tape and mud the walls/ceilings for the basement in my town home. The sq ft is about 500 sq ft, please see basement layoutclick here partially taped and mudded the main area, but don't have the time to finish. I can send pictures as to current progress.
My attached garage has been drywalled before I moved in a year ago, but no taping/mudding has been done. It is a double-wide attached garage of typical height with a couple of extra storage nooks. Basically I would like to have the seams taped and mudded, and ready for painting which I will be doing myself.
Hi There,
We have a wall that separates a kitchen and bathroom. Currently there is a washer and dryer in the kitchen. we would like to turn the washing machine and dryer around so that it is accessed in the bathroom. There is plumbing and electrical already that likely does not require much if any moving. There is a light switch in the kitchen that will need to be put in the new drywalled area. The drywall would need to be fire rated, and fire rated taping/ caulk is required.
We will need the washing machine and dryer to have a new metal vent and will need everything working.
This is in the basement of a rental property that we are bringing up to todays codes. A permit may need to be pulled.
The house is located in South Central Edmonton in an area called Ritchie.
We are ready to start immediately.
Please call Or Email
Drywall - Small and medium sized holes in walls needing repair prior to painting. Possibly one larger area replaced due to water damage.
Baseboards - Prior to painting - we've got most of the baseboards and a mitre, but just can't get around to finishing putting them on. Pretty much all three levels in a smaller four level split.
Painting - Two levels of four level split.
Misc. handyman - installation of kitchen faucet, replacement of one vinyl siding strip (blown off of house).
We need someone to fix the structure of our house below our front bay window. The middle window had sunk, so we took the glass out, We found rotted wood, and carpenter ants. We sprayed to kill the ants and put the window back in and sealed it. The house is about 25 years old and had siding on the front around the window. We would like to use the sealed unit of glass as it is still good, but would need new wood around the window, and would like the frame capped in a color to match our other trim. We will also need interior drywall and window trim done. We will do all the painting that is needed. We would like to have estimates done starting Aug 26, and would like to have the work done as soon after Labor Day as possible. Thanks.
