I live in a house in McCauley with a garage facing an alley. We would like to fence off the area behind the garage from the alley, with a gate for vehicles, and a gate for people. We would be looking at a chainlink fence, about 30ft across, and 5ft high. We also have a wrought iron fence in the front yard with a gate that needs to be repaired.
Hello,
I need a backyard fence for my property. I have a plot plan that I can provide for measurements.
I prefer to communicate via email.
The type of fence I am looking for is a wooden one. I have attached a picture for reference.
We would also like to split the cost of the two sides with our neighbors.
Thank You.
Sagging backyard residential fence, on the back side, adjacent to alley, to be replaced with 12 foot high privacy wooden fence. Approximately 83 feet across on the back side, plus 49 feet of fence adjacent to left side neighbour and 28 feet of fence adjacent to right side neighbour to be replaced (total approximately 160 feet of fencing). Total fencing to include a total of (2) 3 foot gates, and one disposal area. City of Edmonton development permit has been approved. 16 foot fence posts are available from local suppliers, along with 12 foot fence boards. Would prefer pressure treated materials. Fence to be set up with no gaps in between fence boards or along bottom edge. Can send photos of existing fence and desired fence styles. I request your labour and materials estimate by Email please.
Thanks !
Allan
I am looking at getting a fence built. approx 200ft, with a gate on the front or a gate at the back.
pressure treated wood is fine.
I also want a deck approx 30feet by 27 feet. It needs to hold a hottub on top of it and also needs to be low enough so that I don't require a railing. I would like a quote for pressure treated as well as cedar.
Thank You!
Hi I need a fence built in the back yard, including the teardown of the old fence. Old fence is not elaborate and is easy to tear down. The total linear feet of fence to be built is 125 feet. The deck will be approximately 20 by 20 and 10 inches high built partially of cement pad and partially over grass. I can send pictures if you like.
Thanks
Mark
We want to engage a contractor to build about 115 lineal feet of cedar fence with lattice on the top. About 60 feet to be 6 feet high and about 55 feet to be 4 feet high. 4 x 4 inch posts with cement added to the post-holes. There is no old fence to be removed. The property lines have been professionally survey and staked recently.
I want to turn a section of a 4 feet high chain link fence into a 6 feet privacy fence with vinyl slats. The part I want to extend would be 66 feet in length or possibly 80 feet in length. It is just a straight section. Is it possible to add a 2 foot high extension onto the existing fence and if so how much would be the cost?
I have a six foot length between the side of my rental property and the existing chain link fence I currently share with my neighbor. I would like to put in a chain link gate at the sidewalk plus fence to fill in the rest of the space. My tenants are always piling up things like wood palates and garbage cans between the house and fence so their dogs don't escape, so I would like to enclose the yard with this chain link fence and gate to seal off this six foot gap. The existing fence is five feet tall. I would need the fence to go somewhere between the first side window from the front of the house and the garden hose attachment.
The fence in our parking lot needs some serious repair/replacement. See attached photo.
1. Car Parking Lot Scope of Work
- remove wood railing of total 55 Fit
- straighten and paint posts
- install new metal galvanized railing of total 58 Ft
- garbage disposal
2. Electrical Scope of Work
- disconnect main power for car outlets and run dedicated indoor ON/OFF switch
- old plugs and wiring removed
- remove old and install new conduit
- install new wiring and car power outlets
Hi,
We are looking to have a fence built. We live on a corner lot in central part of city. Our connecting side with neighbour is already done, and just needs to be closed off with garage.
On the street side, we would be looking roughly 110' length, with two 12' lengths to connect to garage. Total length roughly 140 ft. We would want two gates, and a 6' high fence.
We are exploring either 5' and 1' lattice or just 6' boards.
I'm looking to have this completed this fall. Please contact me if interested, and include your $/ft for both the lattice and 6', and also $/gate. If you could include a time that you would be able to complete the project, that would be excellent.
Thanks
Steve
I have an existing deck that I need replaced. We're not looking for anything fancy on the deck (it's about 16' x 10') rectangle. I'd like for the deck to be extended slightly in one corner to wrap around a bay window but not if it costs significantly more. We'd have some railings and stairs.
Also, the fence I share with my neighbour may need replacing (it's about 56 feet long) and we're thinking of using cedar, but would potentially salvage the posts as they were originally built with cedar.
Hi. I"m looking for a reliable contractor to take on about 10 wood fences for me this season. I'm looking for another contractor to take on about 20 decks. If you'd only like to take on 10 decks, I can give 10 to two contractors. Good workmanship and warranty a must. Must also be bondable. Please reply stating price per sq' for decks and if that includes handrail and stairs. Also price/' for fence projects and cost of any extras such as gates and whether this price includes post holes and setting posts.
72 ft fence (no gate) to divide property line
pressure treated wood
9- 4x6 posts (8 feet in between each post)
Posts 3 feet deep with cement filing
2x6 boards for in between and top and bottom (so it looks the same on each side) boards to be tight together (no spaces).
Please can all quotes be submitted on company letter head and emailed.
THANK YOU!
Hello.. I have a big yard and an old fence that is falling apart. Im an elderly woman and can't afford much but am in desperate need of this being done as I have a dog and can't loose her. I can get my neighbours possibly to pitch in half but need some quotes. I am the property owner. Im not sure of the size of the fencing area. I know I need a 6 foot fence chain link or wood or the new fancy plastic ones if someone could get back to me I would appreciate it..
I have an existing fence of which I want to take down, replace 4" post with 6" post. Pressure treated. I need a quote for someone to remove and replace. I've heard mixed comments on using cement. These posts aren't cemented in. I will be doing the rest of the project once the posts are in.
What I need is a strip of fence in my yard one piece between the existing fence and the garage, and three gates.
My neighbor next to me will be sharing my strip of fence as well as his own gates and he will be sharing his other strip of fence with the other neighbor on the other side.
I need general quotes for price per $/foot price on gates,
if you use screws or nails
if you concrete the posts in.
Ect:
.
As getting a fence in before the ground freezes is my biggest priority right now.
email me at honeysimple@hotmail.com to quote on the project.
Thank you,
-Michelle

Remove existing fence and posts. Supply and Install new wooden fence (with blended, concealed gate) to match neighbours (including stain). 6 foot high fence, 148 feet in length (includes length of concealed fence). The fence to be replaced is white. Existing concealed gate is located in the far right corner by the white arbour.
I am the owner of the property.
We need a new fence 30ft long and a small bit (8ft wide by5ft) of yard graded properly and landscaping advice (we can do some of this ourselves, we just need advice on what would offer good drainage with low maintenance). There is also a section of 2 by 4 and the corresponding drywall on the inside of the furnace room, which is outside our condo, this has rotted and needs to be replaced. The type of fence we want is a low maintenance type but it has to be a color match of the existing fence- dark green. We own the condo but the project is our responsibility. Is this something that one company can do quickly and at a reasonable cost?
