A tree fell on our chain link fence. The tree has been removed, but approximately 30 ft. of the fence needs to be repaired. The top rail needs to be replaced. The upright posts are fine. The chain mesh needs to be replaced.
The fence separates our backyard from an adjacent treed park. There is easy access to the fence, however there is some rough ground in the immediate working area.
I am looking to either repair the existing gate or replace with a wrought iron gate. The post is current 6"X6" next to the house and this post has become loose. The initial installer put in some concrete but it appears to be cracked. I am thinking of removing the post and have a wrought iron gate installed. The gate is is approximately 40"X76" which includes the post next to the house. The current gate is hinged on the property line post.
We are owners of a corner house with a wooden fence that runs along north-south of our home. There is one section, possibly about 3-4 metres, where the fence is leaning outwards. We think it would need beams to make it upright.
We are looking for experienced professionals with building residential fences. The recent wind may have made the situation worse so we would like the work completed as soon as possible before the weather gets worse.
We have approximately 270 linear feet of fencing that we would like replaced. We would need one regular sized gate and one larger one for a small trailer.
Looking to have pressure treated wood with 6x6 posts (sunk a minimum 3.5 feet).
Estimate needs to also include demolition of the old fence.
HI there, we're looking to have our existing fence taken down and a new one built. It is roughly 165 ft of fence. We'd require two gates and a wide rolling gate (to allow access to our back yard). We'd prefer pressure treated wood. We'd like the boards to run horizontally rather than vertically. Not sure if this makes any difference to the quote. Can you please quote with everything in (take down, disposal and new fence etc.) so there are no hidden surprises!
Thanks!
We have a 30 year old fence with approx 170 linear feet of to be replaced. There are 2 gates and the property has a slight slope down to the back alley. the existing fence will need to be removed, a new fence in its place and all the material from boring of new post holes to be removed. I have 3 attaching neighbours who also would like their fences replaced. we are looking to have this work completed by the end of August or before. I have a budget of $7500 max.
I only need the very back fence replaced, not the whole fence, just the back part along the alley and up the driveway. I would also like a lattice screen built on the north side of the deck. Approximately 12 feet long.
1) Is there currently a fence up that needs to be removed? Yes, there is.
2) What type of fencing and how high will you want it? As high as is allowed. I would like to use pressure treated wood.
3) How many feet of fencing do you need approx.? Approximately 40 feet (unsure about this)
4) When is the best time to have contractors come out to do estimates for you? Evening when I'm home. After 5:30 pm. If not possible, they can leave the estimate in my mailbox.
We have approximately 315 feet of wooden fence with a total of 3 gates that needs to be torn down and removed from lot and a new fence installed. Location is the north end of Edmonton. All parts of the fence are being replaced including the posts so post holes will need to be drilled and new posts concreted in place. The fence style should be a five to six foot tall "Good Neighbour" style. New posts should be 4 x 4 and boards 1 x 6 S4S with 2 X4 rails. All wood should be cedar or pressure treated. Quote must include all costs including labour, tear down and removal of old fence and all materials for new fence. Painting one side of fence is negotiable but not required.
Hi,
My yard is almost fully fenced, except for at the sides of the house. I am looking to get fencing put in on both sides to finish it off, with one side having a gate to access the yard.
The fences are just over 6 feet high on either side. The South side has a width of about 62 inches, and the North side has a narrower opening, with width of about 52 inches. I would like the gate access to be on the South side. I would ideally like these to be done with pressure-treated wood, but am open to other options as well.
I have two side yard fences to build , both are straight lines , both run down hill , 8 % grade , pie lot so they taper towards each other , meeting at the bottom of the hill .
One side is 101 feet long , other is 131 feet long .
Requirements / specs are pressure treated , 2x6x10'stringers top and bottom , front and back , 1x6x6' verticals side by side no gap , 10' span 6x6x12' posts 26 required for both 13 posts per side .
Posts must be set in concrete min of 48" depth 12" diameter with a washed rock drain bed at posts bottom below concrete .
Access to yard from front , will fit 70" wide machine .
Looking for quotes , will wait for spring to complete work if need be .
Price per foot please
Good morning:
I need to get six posts dug, installed and cemented in. There is existing fence on both sides of my property, but the fence was there when I purchased the property. I only need the posts in, nothing else. I would like a quote as soon as possible so I can complete the fence and gates and close off the back yard.
Thanks
I need a small fence - 4' tall or so to keep our dog out of a garden we've created. I haven't measured the site but I guess it's between 15-25' across. I have some 4X4 treated posts. I'm not particular about fence materials ie: chain link or wood. We need a gate to the sidewalk as well.
We have a need for a small fencing project. On the right side of the property we have fencing that is about 12 feet with a large 7.5 foot wide gate that is hinged on one side. We need to have the gate replaced with two smaller gates that allow the opening to be bigger by about two feet. This will require moving the one left side post, tearing apart the gate and rebuilding it as two smaller ones. The fence is in great shape, having being put in in 2018, so we would like to reuse what we can of the pressure treated fencing wood.
Hi there,
I have a stone fence encircling my residential property. The fence is leaning on one side, and I would like to know if it is fixable. One of the previous owners of the 1958 house was a stone mason and he created the fence. If the fence is not fixable, or easily fixable, then I would like to have the fence torn down on the one side that is leaning and a new fence erected on that side (not stone). Preferbly, I would like to have the stone fence fixed or reinforced in some way.
Thank you for your help!

I am looking at getting a quote for a fence build and deck extension for our new home. we don't move in until the 8th of Aug. We are looking for a wood fence along both side of the backyard with one gate. The rear alright has chain link. I would say the fence can be around 15 feet plus in length.
