I have a 2-level basement that’s partially finished and would like to have the necessary plumbing on the basement’s 1st level (top floor) to accommodate a washing machine. No electrical work is required; I already have an electrical outlet.
Please provide a free online estimate for the following plumbing work:
- Install hot & cold water lines with shut-off values in the basement’s 1st level. FYI: The 2nd level has existing hot & cold water lines.
- Cut a hole through the unfinished drywall and install a discharge standpipe with trap to the existing drainpipe located on the 2nd level (drainpipe is right behind the drywall).
I live in an apartment condo and would have to coordinate with the management company to book a date for plumbing repairs in case the water in the building needs to be off for the duration of the installations. Looking for someone who will clean up after their work and dispose of the old fixtures. Because of my liability to other suites, warranteed work would be ideal.
I would like an estimate on:
Install a new vanity sink and a new kitchen sink (stainless steel) - very basic style sinks
Install new fixtures for two vanity sinks, one kitchen sink and one tub - upgrades but nothing fancy
Replace one, possibly two main turn-off valves - are these valves something a plumber could supply or must I buy?
Also, the kitchen sink has a garburator which still works somewhat but is quite old. I could either have it removed or a new one installed, depending on the most cost effective option.
Thank you kindly for offering this service!!!

Plumbing problems - drain problem for sink and toilet, flushing, showers and tubs, the sink is set up to drain from one pipe in the basement - the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink are connected having problems with both draining, pipe is leaking in the wall between the kitchen and the bathroom, we also need our shower fixed (replaced) and toilet in the basement fixed. also would like to install a shower upstairs and the house is approximately 60 years old
We want to have a bathroom roughed-in, in the basement of our 1972-built 4-level split home located in Duggan, South Edmonton. Also, would like to have our sewer lines video-inspected and possibly have a backwater prevention valve installed. Basement is presently unfinished. Main sewer stack is inside crawlspace, approximately 10-12 feet from proposed site of bathroom.
Thank you.

Wondering if you're interested in designing and doing the build out for the plumbing, heating and air in a car wash that is being built in SW Edmonton? We have available to email a copy of the drawing for the car wash that our customer would like to build. It is going to be a 10 bay wand wash with 1 automatic bay on the side. All of the high pressure lines to each bay from the mechanical room will be supplied by the car wash equipment supplier.
For the plumbing estimate please include:
- Tap into city waterline (approximate 50' as distance is not finalized)
- Water line to mechanical room
- Staff bathroom: sink & toilet water lines
- 2 drains and 2 sets of water lines to dog wash area
- 2 water lines to 1€ garden hoses for cleaning (one on each side)
- floor sumps (steel lined) as drains down the middle of each side of the car wash (behind where the cars will park) and in the middle of the auto bay as well
For the heating and air he would like overhead heaters in the main car wash bay and forced air at the overhead door openings of both the wand wash building and auto wash building.
Thank you so much,
Jill
I have a broken faucet in my laundry room that i have tried to have a look at to see if i can fix it myself. I can't see how to do it. I am pretty sure its soldered onto the supply line for a future utility sink. Getting a steady trickle of very hot water and its probably costing me tons. Biggest problem is i need to find someone to replace the faucet that would be willing to take a cheque dated for tommorrow as i don't have enough cash on me today. Hope someone can help.
We are renovating our basement and require the services of a plumber/contractor for the following:
- Drain pipes are existing but one needs to be moved as it was not installed in the correct place by the builder - concrete needs to be jackhammered out, pipe moved (under 12"), and new concrete poured. We would require some general advice on where this drain should be located for most efficient layout of bathroom, and would like the contractor to handle the permit process.
- Header off water tank needs to be expanded for addition of full bathroom in basement - there are no spare lines currently.
- Installation of pump/line for steam shower - we aren't yet sure if we want to do this - it will depend on quoted cost.
- Installation of shower fixtures, toilet and sink/vanity - we may do this ourselves - it will depend on quoted cost.
Please quote with material and labour costs seperate, and overall costs for each item above seperated out also.
Our house was built in 2006 by Bedrock and is located in Brintnell Gardens (NE Edmonton). The water lines in the rest of the house are plastic hose, although we are open to other types of piping.

Our washing machine is located in a partially finished basement but needs to be relocated as the furnace/humidifier is now utilizing the floor drain. The washing machine needs to be moved to a feasible location in the basement (perhaps utilize existing plumbing from the basement bathroom or kitchen) with the necessary plumbing and venting relocated. No electrical work is required.
I need a bathroom reno roughed in. The bathroom is currently gutted and the pipes are exposed. I am looking for someone to replace the existing cast iron pipe with new pipe. Shower, vanity, sink and toilet are not required to be installed. This must be done with a permit pulled and to code to pass inspection.
Due to EPCOR not checking things properly I finally figured out that I have a leaking residential service line. A second sump and some internal weeping tile was put in because the first guy from EPCOR was adamant that the residential water line wasn't leaking. I have Canadian leak locators coming out on July 5-2013. If the leak is under the concrete basement floor I will need some one to come out and fix it. Canadian leak locators can supposably locate a leak in pipe within a foot or two, so I will need someone to cut maybe up to a 2 sq/ft hole in concrete floor and dig down and repair pipe. I can fill in the hole and do the concrete work after the leak is repaired. If anyone is interested please contact me.
Thanks
Neil
First, as stated in the project line above. My main water valve inside my house is seized and I would like to get this changed. I understand in order to get this work done my water has to be turned off from the city line at the "CC". Unfortunately the CC to my house is apparently buried under my driveway. I would prefer not to dig up my concrete driveway which would cost lots. I've been advised there is an alternate method to change the valve by freezing the line first. I would like a cost estimate for this.
Secondly, I need the 4", PVC "T" replaced which connects the downspout from my eaves-trough to the city drainage. The line clogged and the draining water froze which split the "T". I need a cost estimate for this as well. I have already purchased the "T".
I'm looking to have two outside faucets replaced (along with their associated shut off valves).
I may also like them replumbed so they are fed before the water hits our water softener. This is secondary and dependant on the additional cost.
Secondly, I have an internal faucet that needs replacing along with it's two shut off valves.
I am willing to have the work done immediately.
Hi, I have a new replacement faucet for my kitchen. How much will it cost to replace the old faucet with the new one? I want this job done at 10am on Thursday morning July 22, 2021. I have a very little window of time to get this fixed hence I’ll need someone affordable to get the job done at this time.
Good day,
We have 6 minor jobs if you'd be interested in doing - from the inspection we did on our condo before moving in. This will help to make the home livable as there was damage by the prior owner prior to us moving in.
We're hoping to stay under $1100 if possible as we've spent quite a bit on unforeseen DIY repairs up till now to again be able to live in it.
As well, in the future we would like to have the cupboards refinished (cupboards in kitchen, bathrooms, plus frame/molding around cupboards - these were damaged before we took possession sadly.)
1) We recent moved and the sliding shower door in one bathroom needs replacing due to damage, though it was in working condition during the condo inspection.
Does your service include: bringing a sliding shower door with you (instead of dropping off/delivered), installing it, and disposing of the old one? It measures about 53" in width.
2) As well, are you able to remove the mounted shower curtain rod in the other bathroom and replace with an adjustable non-mounted rod?
3) "Shower diverter not functioning properly (not all water flowing to showerhead)- when you pull the hook on the nostril to showersome water comes from above but some still comes from the nostril
4) Dishwasher drain tied directly into garburator - causing water to back up in the kitchen sinks.Have dishwasher drain reinstalled to bypass the garburator entirely, andprevent garburatorblockages from inhibiting dishwasher operation.
^unclog garburator.
5) kitchen sink unclog recommend "snake drain
6) both bathroom sinks pool with water ="Slow/clogged drainage - recommend clean p-trap/tail piece, a partial blockage may be present."
My shower drain pipe has not been installed properly. The floor around the shower is now lifting. I require a plumber to:
- inspect the shower drain and determine what can be done to ensure it is installed properly.
- determine if there is further water damage under the vinyl bathroom flooring
- provide a quote on replacing the same shower (single) with a double shower
Hello, We are building a single, 2 story family house in the Allendale area, Edmonton. Foundation is complete and we have just started framing and the windows and doors are on the way. will be requiring electrical work, plumbing, dry wall installation, paint, and anything in between.
Thank you in advance,
Yashar.
Hi there, I have a problem with the shower head in the master bedroom bathroom. Named Riobel for the shower head unit. Currently, only cold water coming out of the unit. We would like to get it repair if possible. We also looking at the option to replace the shower by a thermostatic shower unit.
I am open for suggestion. Please give me a quote for the repair as well as price mark for some options if possible.
Thank you very much !
Have toilets and wax rings. Have one toilet off the base and cleaned up but now we have discovered the upstairs toilet is leaking at the base as well. So we would like someone else to take over and finish this at a good price. Do not require anything fancy, a toilet with no leaking would be nice. Upstairs bathroom is a full bathroom and main floor is a half bath.
I have 2 Briggs 4430-1.6gpf/6l toilets that seem to be having problems
1 toilet will not flush
2 toilet seems to be losing water
As I am not a plumber I do not know if these are water efficient and if they are costing me money on my water bill. I need the best and most cost effective solution to resolve my water bill.
We are doing a total house renovation (down to the studs). We want all the plumbing redone, top to bottom. The house is already down to the studs and easy access to the pipes, etc. We are looking for quotes (and references). The 1954 house is approximately 2,000 sq feet. All plumbing to be replaced. Thank you
