Concrete path is uneven and sloping away from the house and sloping in at another. Most of it is 20yrs old I think it needs to be replaced. We would also like to widen it by about 4inches. Also, build a wheelchair ramp at the driveway end. We are open to the Recycled rubber concept, or to have it removed and re-concreted.
Length 34 yds
Width 1 yd
We own the property
Can we get someone to provide an estimate?
The driveway is 16'W x 80' L and basically level.. It is concrete on what appears to be a dirt sub-base (no gravel). It is badly damaged by tree roots and has horrible drainage. I want it ripped out, a proper sub-base put in, and the driveway replaced with something permeable to water, I am leaning towards permeable concrete but will also consider gravel. Cost is an issue, but I want it done right and don't want to replace with asphalt. Contractor should remove old driveway; I may consider splitting up removal and installation into 2 contracts.
Backyard side walk has a slight inclination towards the house. On one area the concrete foundation has a crack and when it rains you can see this crack wet because rain is making his way towards the house due to this inclination. You can see this from the basement crawl space.
An engineer already assesed this situation and found that everithing was OK with the foundation but he suggested to fix the crack or avoid water to gettting to it.
