What a mess and disappointment! We had Adrian rip out a bathroom and renovate. After, the floor of the shower was pooling water, the tile wasn't done properly. Adrian committed to re-doing his poor work, but after weeks and weeks of delays, and clearly frustrated by me asking all the time, he finished the floor with the wrong materials, entirely. The shower leaked and we had to pay another contractor to fix it. Stay away from Archer Contracting!!
We hired Archer to repair some water damage and to replace some flooring in our century home. Adrian was great to work with as he understood our desire to keep the character of the older home while at the same time improving the structure of the house. We would highly recommend him to anyone.
Adrian completely gutted our downstairs bathroom. He did a fabulous job. Could not ask for a more polite skilled worker. Now my bathroom look great! I would absolutely call on him again for anymore renovations I require.
My wife & I started a new business in Downtown Milton. We purchased an office bldg. on Main St. Not knowing anything about renovating we came across Adrian @ Archer Contracting. Hired all the necessary people as well in starting up. Got in touch with town requirement departments (Adrian was very helpful in navigating thru this part). He arranged the reno.s going thru blue prints we had arranged from architect & proceeded to transform our office bldg into So Charming Children's parties and boutique on Main St.
He was able to work both with our architect & Town to satisfy all bylaw requirements. He was able to adapt where needed & meet some challenges we ran into. He also seemed to go beyond what was necessary to make our dream possible.
So Charming is a favorite Children's Birthday & events stop for the past almost 7 years.
We're available 6 days a week. You need to call to book an appointment. (905-864-6912)
I would recommend Adrian/ Archer Contracting to anyone who has a need large or small to anyone. He is professional, respectful & good natured.
He was able to work out all challenges from tearing down walls and rebuilding as required to plumbing & ceiling work.
Thanks Adrain for or Dream Business.

Be careful of this vendor, he is unreliable and quality of work is poor. He will promise to be there on a certain day or time and almost never shows up, claiming his job as a part time firefighter takes priority or other construction jobs. I had to wait months for him to repair his poor workmanship, I felt he took advantage of my good nature. Everything he did in my house, I can see chips in the tile, cracks in the shower floor, dents in my floor where he dropped tools and I have a badly chipped bath tub. A cautionary tale for me, you get what you pay for.
The absolute WORST experience I've ever had dealing with a company!!!
Adrian the owner kept trying to rip us off after giving us a quote he kept trying to get more money. He destroyed our backyard and refused to show up to fix it then it took a year for us to get him to come back to finish the fence and it's still not finished the way it was suppose to be, poles are loose, gate has fallen apart because it wasn't installed properly, parts of the fence are not nailed on and there was damaged our pool supplies. Oh, did I mentioned we were unaware that he left pieces of wood with huge nails sticking out of them in our yard and one of our dogs was chewing on it and could've been severely injured if we didn't see it in time. We kept trying to get him to come by to finish the job but he never did. He would say he's coming but wouldn't show up and once when he was suppose to come by we find out he's in Miami. the absolute worst company I've ever dealt with and this was our 4th time having a fencing company and we've never had any problems untill this guy came along. Don't trust this guy, our neighbor is still trying to get him to finish the work on her house after a year and a half of him not doing the job. He leaves jobs only halfway done, as soon as you give him money he starts slacking until he doesn't show up at all. Very unprofessional. Buyer beware, stay away from this guy. If he decides to finish and fix our fence then I'll repost a review but as of now we are living with a shitty fence with a gate that's already falling apart and won't shut properly.
After reading your review I think it only fair to share the missing facts and details:
He was given a contract with scope of work and price. The original price actually went down.
The fence job was contracted out to two reputable Milton companies with excellent service records and references.
We agreed on a price, fence was built and both of Louis s neighbors paid in full and were satisfied.
Louis made one partial payment. We both signed off on the receiving of this 1 payment on his installment plan.
Louis never paid either of his last 2 payment installments and has an outstanding balance of 1800.00. Moreover, he lied and told his wife he paid me.
Louis wife asked me to come back and fix a few items once the job was complete, such as a couple missing caps and tightening the loose gate latch. I told her that wasn t a problem but I needed to get paid in full before I finish everything.
I would have been happy to fix any issues, if they had paid me as per the written agreement we had.
At the end of his review he says he would be willing to repost a review if I were to come back; a statement of the fact that his review is an attempt to manipulate me to do work for free so that he will pull his negative review down. Trusted Pro does not review the legitimacy of claims.
Please be careful when looking into hiring Archer Contracting for your home. We had a simple task of a stone overlay & walkway renovation. We had several concerns with Archer Contracting once the project began, that we had to stop and find another company to finish the job. For further review please email.
