Our family was very pleased with the work that Barrer Contracting did at our home. The end result was spectacular! We could tell we were working with a crew of men who were experienced in their trades because when they left, our house was a beautiful home. The whole team was punctual, friendly, and CLEAN. Robert is great to work with! He kept us in the loop the entire time the project was under way. Robert is also a good listener. He took our vision and really exceeded our expectations. Barrer contracting built us a deck and installed a new gate for us. They started on time, worked diligently, and finished on time. They were very good with changes as we went along and were very fair with pricing.

Rob and his crew did a great job on my deck project. They were punctual, honest, tidy and the quality of carpentry was superb. Overall I don't think you'll find a better contractor to do your work.
I strongly recommend this company and will definitely use him again.

My husband and I met with at least 6 different contractors as we embarked on our journey of having a deck built that was approx 1100 square feet. Both my husband and I agreed that Robert from Barrer Contracting was the most knowledgable, personable and honest in all his interactions with us
Robert and his crew did a fantastic job, they were alway on time, kept the yard clean and free from unnecessary debris and garbage..and very accommodating to our changing requests and ideas and even provided us with many ideas that we had not even thought of. They clearly had a wealth of experience and knowledge which kept the job moving forward and on time
Ultimately the deck ended up being two tiered with a split staircase,( shown in picture ) two privacy fences, re enforced section to hold our hot tub and had lights put in around the entire perimeter of the deck and of course down all the stair cases.
The compliments we get on our deck is never ending. We love how it has extended our living space to entertain our friends and family.
I would highly recommend Barrer Contracting for all your contracting needs.

Barrer Construction completed a deck for us in the fall of 2012. He worked with us & helped us to develop a great looking design, and then executed the build in a very timely and efficient manner. His budget estimates were bang-on and any adjustments in budget were due to materials selections we made that were at a higher value that the original plan anticipated. Some elements of the installation were very tricky to execute and he and his team developed very innovative strategies to resolve and the end product is excellent, and has been the subject of numerous complements from visitors and neighbours. When we needed to rennovate the deck at our new home to bring it up to code, we contacted Barrer Contracting Services to get a quote. Robert came to the house the next day, examined the existing structure and outlined our various options. He listened to our thoughts and concerns, and clearly answered all our questions about different materials and approaches. We were very impressed with Robert’s willingness to listen to our concerns, and with the clarity of the answers he provided. The quote he submitted a day or two later was very detailed and very clear as to the cost of all materials, and labour, and we agreed to proceed.
The work on the deck was completed in a very timely and professional manner, with minimal disruption to our lives. Robert and his crew were considerate and responsive to any last minute concerns or changes we requested. We are extremely pleased with the results of their efforts.
We recommend Robert, and his company, Barrer Contracting Services without reservation. They are considerate, knowledgeable, reliable, and competent professionals who listen to the client, and provide excellent advice. Then they deliver on their promises at a fair and reasonable price.
