Our master bath was as old as our house built in 1958. It needed a “right to the studs” Reno. Keith and his team had done a great exterior remodel of our house last year so we asked him to do the bathroom. And despite the obvious challenges of building during a pandemic, we now have the bathroom of our dreams. Ok, it took longer than we hoped because of the restrictions but it was worth the wait. If you want a high quality job at a fair price, call Keith Travers at Eastview Homes.
Eastview Homes designed and built the second story addition of our bungalow last summer. I was hesitant to even start the work, but was referred to them by a close friend and honestly, I couldn’t have been happier with how effortless the process went. Keith made himself available and put myself and my husbands mind at ease through the entire project. 10/10 would highly recommend Eastview and look forward to working with Keith and his team in our future projects. – Helen & Rick
Hi Rick / Helen - thank you for your kind words and appreciation for the attention to detail each of our crew members contributed too. With the project evolving to a complete home reno it's nice having customers who respect the renovation process.
We all enjoyed working with you.
Have a wonderful summer.
Jill - Eastview Homes
From the moment we started to deal with Keith we knew our home was in the best hands for the job! He kept in touch with us every step of the way. Our main floor renovation is more than we could ever ask for! We highly recommend using Eastview Homes for your next home renovation! You will NOT be disappointed! Thank you so much!
Well it has been just over a year since we had our home fully renovated using Keith from Eastview Homes. Roughly ($350,000 +)
I could go on and on about the dissatisfaction of our dealing and quality of workmanship we received, however if the reader of this review is thinking of renovating, I would gladly share our experience along with the many factual Photo's and video's we have.
I would also share some tips and pointers I have learned in making sure you select in my opinion a good contractor and must needed items to clarify when contracting through a contractor.
Unfortunately in todays fast and moving housing market I believe that there is very little if any accountability on the contractor who are trusted to build your "Dream House". Therefore, I want to be able to help people in making sure they do not fall into the "Dreaded Build". (I will not charge anyone and I am not a business)
I am not a contractor or a tradesman but I did learn a lot, unfortunately from the negative interaction and numerous deficiencies throughout our build and the year after.
We ended up paying extra money to have other trades repair the work that was poorly done by Eastview Homes but in the end it was definitely the better decision we made.

To your comments / response
1. Those photos are not of our home.
2. The plumbing work was removed and you were well aware of the poor quality.
3. And to your comment on approval of building inspectors, the final plumbing inspection did fail and we had to hire our own plumbing company to correct and pass.
4. We never made comment that we were satisfied with your work, it was your brother that in the end came and helped us get our home finished so that we could finally move our family in. We were very appreciative of your brothers work, compassion and understanding.
Further Update to your rebuttal.
1. I would consider the total cost $350K + an extensive renovation not moderate. The home was completely rebuilt from the studs out on 3 levels.
2. You errored in your comments that I was the contractor over seeing the project and you were hired as a sub trade. That is incorrect, as you were the general contractor "Eastview Homes" ( as per signed contract) you had brought in all the trades except for the 2 that we had labelled in the contract (painter and window/doors). All other trades was "managed" as you stated like Demolition crew, Framer, Tiler, HVAC, carpet, hardwood, insulation, drywaller ect…. You completed the home inspection with the city inspectors, I was only present for the plumbing inspector due to the fact that this job needed another plumber to be hired to correct the water leaks and failed inspection by your trade.
3. Near the end of the project and after you had walked off the job site 2x you finally recruited your brother to complete and manage the work which involved hiring of the new trades to repair the numerous deficiencies ie new drywaller, and paint the complete home again.... and once again we were very Grateful for him to complete your end of the contract.
Mr Ballice - we are surprised to read your continued disappointment with us :( attempt to cause us harm where at closing in both Julia and yourself shared appreciation for our service team attending to all deficiencies.
Your renovation project valued at $255,800 was scheduled for a moderate renovation where you were the general contractor, hiring and supervising trades, attending to the working drawings and building permit / inspections. We were hired as a subtrade and responsible for few trades.
After you received a referral to consider us for this project, you reached out to us asking us to review / quote your project. We met with you / Steve and Julia at your home reviewing your plans. After providing a written quote you were quick to award us the project advising us - "are you ready to be tested? this is our dream home!"
As we started the demolition you stated - "I will be by often - as a police officer and lawyer we have trust issues." We attempted to assure you our commitment to providing reliable service.
Throughout the project you were quick at sharing rotating expectations - reviewing all our work through multiple site visits. From the start, it was clear we were in for a difficult time managing your expectations and police like personality. You shared displeasure and questioned majority of our trades and crew - demo, framers, plumber, hvac, electrician, drywaller, tiler.
While at plumbing roughin you shared displeasure with the work, where we accepted your comments, and removed everything starting over.
All work was provided by trade professionals and approved by building inspectors.
In closing Steve - we do apologize for failing to meet your expectations.
(Should anyone need, we do have pictures of our work, added details and emails including list of trades who can share their experiences on this project)
Working with Keith for the last couple years has been a great experience for me as a new carpenter. The attention to detail and professionalism Eastview Homes brings to each and every job is something that no other contractor can match.
Great having you part of the team - let's keep building on a long term working relationship.
I am pleased to write a review for Eastview Homes. We had them build a covered patio on our home. The excellent workmanship that Keith and his team at Eastview Homes provided goes without saying. The final product is an extremely sound and beautiful covered porch that we will enjoy for years to come. Thank you again for the great experience.
Keith at eastview homes built an addition for me recently. Keith was very approachable and easy going. He made my experience very easy and no headaches. Everything was taken care of; clean, organized, and timely. Every trade that he brought in was respectful of my place and very polite. I would definitely call Keith at Eastview homes again.
Good morning Chris - thanks for the review. Glad we could be of service. I remember advising 10% contingency is normal for material finishes. Thank you to marie for sourcing the exterior materials you had requested.
Eastview completed our home addition after our first contractor made a mess of the job.
Keith was referred to us by the engineer - Keith took control of the project with confidence and got us the end product we were looking for. Big save - thank you Azmin for the referral and to Eastview Homes for a job well done.
Eastview Homes dedication and commitment to top notch construction and renovation is insurmountable.
When we had our renovation done, they were great from start to finish. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship provided us with a living space that far exceed our hopes and expectations.
If you’re looking to rebuild your home, put an addition on your existing home or need to have home renovations done, Eastview Homes have our highest recommendation!

My girlfriend referred eastview to me after a renovation she completed last year in Oakville.
We decided to add a second floor vs moving even though our house is a slide-split and not ideal to work with.
Keith – manager of Eastview came to our house shared his vision which was very similar to ours – going up and above the garage.
We received the design a short time later and within 5 months we started the renovation.
$220,000 and 4 months later - we are back in the house we love. Eastview Homes – first call you should make.
