I normally do not post reviews, but I feel it is warranted in this case. The owner is a class act fraud artist. Essentially took the money and ran. Drew is nice to talk to when he believes you are still being played, and will say things to keep you calm, but he has a great knack of knowing once you've figured out you're being had, he knows when to stop communicating. Like I said, a true fraud artist.
All I have is 5 poured concrete posts for what was supposed to be a wooden patio gable roof structure. This is not a case of contractor/homeover having an arguement (I'll admit sometimes homeowners can be equally at fault), but in this case, no actual construction ever took place, he just took the money and ran. If he was an honest business person, he should of at least called the customer to explain why he cannot perform or finish the job as agreed on the written contract and refund the portion not completed. Being what was supposed to be a roof, I am kind of glad Drew didn't do any construction, since poor craftmanship and safety usually tags along with fraudsters.
I've typically had great success of hiring out work, but this company (Drew) has changed the way I review contractors and I am now more diligent. Drew is a classic case of a bad contractor that gives the industry a bad rap. Avoid at all possible!!! I have since written off the loss and hired another contractor. All I can say is, what a difference! If you plan on hiring out this company, all I can say is Good Luck!
