This "so called" contractor has NO IDEA!!!!. We contacted him to give us a quote on installing ceramic tile in our kitchen area. The first time he was scheduled to give us a quote, he was a no-show. When he did show-up, he told us he would have the quote completed in a few days. Approximately 4 days later, he called indicating that he needed to get his "worker" to come and look at the job. In other words, he had no idea how to measure the area or estimate a price. When we got the quote he was quite flexible with the price (probably the only reason we went with him). On the first day of the job he arrived 1 hour late with "his worker" (his words - very disrespectful in my opinion). He stayed for a few hours doing absolutely nothing. We never saw him again until the job was completed. Obviously, he wanted his money. The guy who completed the job worked extremly hard and had to have friends help out as the job was far too big for one person. When we contacted the contractor indicating that the job was taking too long (initially quoted as 3 days- in reality it took 11 days) and that he should come and help, his response was "I can only hand him the tiles" . At the end of the job this "so called contractor" took 1/3 of the money. My husband and I spent more time being the project manager than this contractor. Please, please, please, stay away!!!
