| Warranty | Scope of Warranty: This warranty applies to renovation services performed by Greenlight Renovations (“the Company”) at the property specified in the service agreement. The warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials used in the renovation project. Duration of Warranty: The warranty period shall extend for a period of [X years/months] from the date of completion of the renovation project. Specific materials or components of the work may have separate manufacturer warranties which are passed on to the client. Exclusions: This warranty does not cover: Normal wear and tear. Damages resulting from misuse, neglect, alterations, or accidents by the client or third parties. Work performed by other contractors or third parties after the completion of the project. Cosmetic issues that do not affect the functionality of the work done. Claim Procedure: Warranty claims must be made in writing and submitted to Greenlight Renovations within [30 days] of the defect being noticed. Upon receipt of a claim, the Company will assess the defect and determine if it falls under warranty coverage. If the defect is covered, the Company will repair or replace the defective workmanship or materials at no additional cost to the client. Limitation of Liability: The Company's liability under this warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of defective work or materials. The Company is not liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the defect or the repair process. Transferability: This warranty is extended to the original client and is not transferable to subsequent property owners. Governing Law: This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario. Miscellaneous: This warranty constitutes the entire agreement between the client and Greenlight Renovations regarding the warranty of the renovation work. Any modifications to this warranty must be made in writing and signed by both parties. |
