Mike and his crew did an amazing job at designing and building my deck. His pricing is very reasonable, the quality and workmanship is second to none. He showed up and completed the project as promised. No hassle and a pleasure to hire someone with such a great work ethic and integrity!!!!

I hired Mike of Griffin Construction to build our deck in March of 2011. What a terrible experience. I'll save you from the painful details of getting the deck actually built on time. What I will tell you is how this company (or Mike Griffin) treats his customers.
The materials used on the deck were just terrible. I contacted Mike & asked that he kindly stop by, take a look and replace them. All he did was give me the run around. He never answers oy calls or returns my emails. I posted a review of his services on Homestars & he threatened me via email saying he would claim the job was not paid for and take me to small claims court. What a joke.
Stay away from "Griffin Construction". Poor. Very Poor.

I would and will recommend Griffin Construction to anyone interested in having a deck built. The service was excellent, I have an incredible deck that my family and I can enjoy and they did an awesome clean-up job to boot! I am extremely pleased with the work that was done and will be hiring them to lay my hardwood flooring.

I hired Mike Griffin to frame my basement, and install the subfloor in my basement. Mike and Tim did an excellent job on both the framing and the floor. They showed up promptly every morning and worked straight through the days, finishing the job quickly and with outstanding quality (laser straight walls and level floor!) Mike also came up with some very helpful suggestions (to name a few: move a doorway to make more space, move a drain line from the furnace, move some of the HVAC to make smaller and neater bulkheads. These are just a few of the suggestions Mike made, which has enhanced the overall basement plan. I would highly recommend Griffin construction. Mike is a man of his word, and he does excellent work, and he does it quickly. Friendly and professional, I will be hiring Mike again for a deck I plan to have built this summer.

Mike and his crew were professional, stayed within the allotted time for the project, produced quality work and most importantly came in on budget.
You can hire almost anyone to build you a deck, but I would suggest hiring someone who specializes in deck building. When it's all they do, they are fast, efficient and cost effective.
Very satisfied with the results.
