For finding that pesky leak in your roof, you have to call Guns N’ Hoses Roofing! After the big rains on Monday, a mysterious leak reappeared in our ceiling – over 3 years and 3 different contractors couldn’t find and fix this leak. Vanessa and team within 30 min found the cause and repaired it at a fraction of what we have paid others! Definitively found it - we witnessed her re-creating the leak! Equally important, there was no upselling! There was no ‘we would need to re-shingle’ or re-do the roof. A simple repair, pics inside attic and outside on the roof. Amazing! And while here, she and Devon cleaned out our gutters which were long overdue for a clear-out. So responsive and reliable: I reached out on Monday night after I saw their post on Facebook saying if you had roof impacts from the storm, to contact them for inspection; Tues morning they contacted me, and by Tuesday at 2 pm they were here on site). So glad I saw that post and took a chance! Although this was a repair, we can say, with certainty, they are the roofers we will call for all our roofing needs, just based on this stellar customer experience and professional expertise. Regarding Guns N' Hoses rebuttal, please consider the following:

They indicate that I have been offered reductions on the extra fees twice, but I have only received one one offer to reduce the additional fees by $93.00.

I have not threatened a lawsuit; although I believe I am in a position to do so. I asked to discuss terms so that we could end things more amicably--they have not responded. Reviews seem to be the only thing that elicits a response.

While I can sympathise with illness, Vanessa has a team and can easily send someone else to complete the small remaining task--preferably before further damages are done to my home.

She is well aware that both the warranty and squirrel infestation were my main concerns, and is using them to force her demands through.

After several re-writes of our contract (it was rather one-sided on their part), we both agreed on the invoice and contract details.

Guns N' Hoses added several hundred dollars) to the previously agreed upon invoice, without discussion or disclosure, until after I made the final payment, and told me that my warranty would be invalid if I didn't pay the extra fees. It should be noted that I had already given her several opportunities to discuss any variations, but she dismissed them.

The proprietor, who was friendly until I challenged the additional fees, became insulting and opted not to complete a smaller, but very important part of the contracted job--I had requested that the contract included a clause to attach some wire mesh to a 'squirrel' vulnerable area.

So now, I hear those squirrels scratching away, and have no warranty. I keep asking her to complete the job, and maybe have a conversation to end things more amicably, but she has ignored my requests.

My experience with GnH has been amazing!

Initially they came for a roof repair however they found some additional issues with it caused by my previous repair company. They were understanding and helped me out and provided great customer service, very professional and to the point. Vanessa in particular was especially helpful and hands on throughout the entire process!
