KBL Building Improvements

We are extremely satisfied with KBL Building Improvements, they built us a Sun room and completed our partially finished deck. Their superier knowledge and expertise in building was very helpful with this project. This Sunroom is definitely our "happy place" and we love our deck, both are perfect for entertaining our guests. We would recommend KBL to anyone.

We were so impressed with KBL. They came, gave us a quote, and after we okayed the job, they got started right away. We were surprised at how fast the entire job got done--2 weeks! Every day they took the time to talk to us to clarify any questions we had or they had. Usually renovations are messy, but these guys cleaned and swept the area every day. We were pleasantly surprised. When it came time to square up, the final bill mirrored the quote we got at the very beginning. We are so happy with our new basement. It's beautiful and it definitely has a professional look. We would happily recommend KBL Building Improvements to anyone who is looking to get renovations done.

We have been doing a major renovation to our farmhouse bungalow this year. Bryan and Kris build us a large back deck attached to a new covered deck. This included building a wall and with 2 windows and a door to the covered deck. The deck has 2 sets of stairs - one at each end. Bryan and Kris also built a smaller front deck with steps. They were helpful with great suggestions for the decking materials. We're happy with the quality of the finished product and I know we'll get a lot of enjoyment from the decks next spring. The only challenge was timing. We had hoped the decks would be finished sooner, but understand that this was a challenging summer for contractors doing exterior work with the cold, rainy weather. We're looking forward to next spring when we can start the landscaping - our new decks give us a great starting point.

Very accurate initial survey, with a great description of the services and options. Picked our materials and a time, and the work was done on time and on budget, with a very high degree of workmanship. Zero issues.

KBL Contracting tore down our old deck and built the new deck in a very timely manner, very neat clean up and the new deck is great! On budget and on time!

One of the only companies to give me a timely quote and follow-up. Came in on budget with a few small added services that I was not charged for. Job was completed on time and site left in a clean state. As this was my house frontage I needed finished product to look good... does it ever. Would't hesitate to use them again or refer them to anyone looking for quality, friendly, honest and fairly priced job.

Brian gave a comprehensive estimate to remove and replace our deck. He met the terms of his estimate completely and took the time to make sure that some difficult areas on our deck were properly done and look very professional. Very capable crew. Work was done quickly and with high quality results. As a client I was made aware of any possible issues in advance and given good advice on how to deal with it. Very pleased with the results. Just switched phones so picture were not on hand at the time of the review but available on request.

Bryan and the gang did a great job fitting us into the schedule and delivered an awesome deck and pergola for us. Pricing was fair, straight forward and without any surprises.

We had an elevated deck off our kitchen (walkout basement) that needed to be replaced. Impressed with the quality of the workmanship and attention to detail. Whenever there were items that needed modification to the design, they were quick to point out the issue and suggest a more practical approach.

They also rebuilt a small wooden bridge over a pond in our backyard. Excellent job.
