Good job! Very professional. Clean and tidy and on time.

My wife wanted improvements to 2nd floor of our home that was original 1980's - stucco ceilings removed, upstairs renovations on 2nd floor including removal of closet to hallway & relocating closet opening in bathroom, all new doors/hardware, trim etc.

Visited Trusted Pros, K.E.R. Restorations was high on list. Mike quoted, showed up as promised and even did some additional work on a weekend. He and his colleague do excellent work.

Would not hesitate to recommend Mike or his work. We would consider him a friend now.

My wife has future plans for other upgrades to the bathrooms.

First off I would like to say I hope you don’t get swayed by the one negative review on this site. Mike has been working on our home off and on (because I wanted to find my own deals on things) for a month now and I have gotten to know him well. He is very down to earth and even though I have little knowledge of home improvements I feel fine to ask him any “dumb” questions because he never makes me feel like an idiot. Plus, my husband and I feel that his prices are very reasonable. All that being said, his work is great and I will never go anywhere else for future home improvements. I already have a list. :)

It is very overwhelming when you find your plumbing broke in main floor and did extensive damage to the finished basement. I contacted my Insurance company and they sent K.E.R. Resoration over. Within 2 hours, they had started to remove the damaged flooring, drywall etc. Large fans were brought in and the area was checked on frequently. The restoration was completed in a timely fashion and on budget.

This was over a year ago. Every part of the reno has held up excellent. Flooring, baseboard, wainscotting, and the best drywall repair and paint ever.

I recommend them to all my friends and if needed, I would use their services again.

I contacted K.E.R. Restoration to have a wall fixed. It was done in a timely manner and a fair price.

At the time we discussed basement renovations. Now, my basement was in terrible shape. Unfinished and dark. Now thanks to Mike and his team it`s light and I am no longer embarrassed to lead someone down the stairs. They framed the basement into usable spaces by constructing and concealed the area in a manner that is both efficient and modern.

All electric issues (sorry, not an electrician, so I do not know the jargon, but I do know that what I had was outdated and somewhat unsafe) and now everything is updated, labelled and restored.

The drywall work in my basement went beyond my expectations. The walls and ceilings were done. Meticulous detail was taken into incorporating and concealing switches, knobs, pipes and the electric box.

The time taken to complete this project and price felt very fair.

Mike was understanding and listened to every concern I had and provided a solutions that work. For example, I had a leak underneath my kitchen sink that was apparent after framing the basement was done. And he was able to fix both the leak in the kitchen and repair what needed to be done in the basement (without it looking like it had been repaired).

None the less, I am more than pleased with his workmanship, those he chooses to work with and his level of professionalism and talent. Will definitely hire again in the future.

Botched tile flooring install. Came back and left huge glob of grout behond my door. Bathroom door couldn't even close. Mike Ryckman is very unprofessional and called me several names. Very abusive. Should not be in business!

Mike is professional and very personable. The quality of work that he and his team did, was excellent. We had our house painted and the high quality job was done on time and within budget. Will we have K.E.R. in again for future work? Absolutely! We couldn't be happier with the work they've done. Thank you!

Mike did a great job installing laminate in my house.He was reliable,reasonable and the floor looks great.It was nice to hire someone who showed up when he said he was going to and didnt add in any hidden costs.I would definitely use him again for any home renovations.
