We tried them with our bathroom vanity and were satisfied with the project that we selected them for our kitchen. What a mistake. They do not have any quality control, frequently showing up with shelves that were cut short, hinges that allowed cabinet doors to hit one another and the installers not knowing where to put things. The counter was cut 3/4" too short and we lost a week getting a properly fitting counter. We had to finish the installation on one of the small counters ourselves. Our kitchen installation started on October 21 and was completed on December 23. They were supposed to start one week earlier and be finished in 2 weeks. Lanxin kept telling us that they were going to start on time until the day before scheduled start. They did keep working at things until we accepted them but that usually required compromise on our part. I cannot recommend them for anything.
WARNING! Never deal with kitchen Company Lanxin Inc. located at 1001 Meyerside Drive #5, Mississauga, ON L5T 1J6.
They are very demanding on payment in advance. They may even bring some cabinets (without doors!!!), they can even install them, but they never installed my complete kitchen. They promise to come “next week” every week, but they never show up again; they don’t respond to phone calls.
The woman called herself Laura is in charge of this “business”. On my requests to come and finish the installation, she just says – the kitchen is installed.
I have horrible experience with her, a nightmare! Be careful, never trust her!
For every order we sign agreement with customer and request payments as per agreement.
We have already completed our scope of work for this order. Customer is blaming us for the jobs that others were supposed to do like countertop and installation of sink.
Customer's claim that we are not responding to phone calls is not right. In fact customer is not ready to listen to us. We requested to send us pictures where customer thinks that we have to fix something, but customer refused to do so. Customer is a contractor, but not ready to give us business or any other address. We are ready to help. Only thing we requested to release our final payment as we have already completed the installation. Since we do not have customer's business or any other address, except the cell phone number, it is our right to secure our payments.
Lanxin's products are no good...
Here was our experience with them:
We ordered the georgetown,
Many items that arrived for our kitchen were damaged, scratched etc...
The finish is not durable at all, would easily chip / scratch.
Some frames were cracked, doors with defects in them etc...
Was like pulling teeth to get them to replace the damaged items.
Their installer / owner of the company is a disaster....
They hit an ABS pipe in our wall in 3 places with screws (it was clear where the pipes entered the wall.. they could have avoided this)
They scratched our fridge during the install and got PL premium adhesive on it, guy was actually sitting on top of our fridge while installing cabinet above it... not cool.
The cabinets were mounted all out of square with eachother.... granite guys were cursing cabinet guys.. they could have shimmed the cabinets... not too hard to use a square is it?
The installers dropped stain all over our floor and on the front of some of the cabinet doors while filling / staining small nail holes for the crown molding...
They mounted doors opening the wrong way on cabinets beside our sink and did not want to fix the problem.
The plywood construction they kept hyping.... yea well.. cheap chinese plywood.. it was already delaminating in a number of places on some of the cabinets.
Hinges were cheap and flimsey.
There were other problems but Im sure Ive listed enough to get the point.
The problems got so out of hand we threatened to sue them, told them to remove all the cabinets and wanted our money back.... fortunately they agreed... the problems were way too evident.
So in the end... poorly skilled installer + crappy chinese products = nightmare....
We're in the process of having Lowes install their scheuler line of cabinets.
Much better quality...
IMO... avoid Lanxin and their products.
