Craig was friendly at first and the quality of his work seemed good. As he progressed into the project his work became sloppy and he was rude with my other contractors. Craig didn’t do good job with my Renovations and kept demanding money even though he didn’t complete what was in the contract and I wasn’t happy with the work. He hasn’t honoured his warranties and refuses to answer my calls. I would never recommend him, huge disappointment with my kitchen and I spent a lot of money on his project.
I cant say that I'm surprised at this review as Linda came into this business relationship almost 2 yrs. ago with a very dishonest intent. She asked me for an all inclusive price and then decided to use some of her own hand picked contractors. When it came time to produce invoices so I could make the appropriate deductions, she purposely attempted to hide returns of items I had purchased and withheld other invoices for long periods of time. The job turned out wonderful. She was also running a dayhome during the project. I kept my moral concerns to myself, although it weighed heavy on me at times, I finished the project in a timely manner, charging nothing for extra work and delays caused by other contractor tartyness. I'm not concerned at all about this review as future clients can draw their own conclusions about who was the problem in this transaction based on my review history.
Craig is great.
Services included for the basement remodel include relocating bathroom, rebuilding walls for a bedroom, bathroom, family room with subfloor, insulation etc. Also, installing bathroom fixtures, fireplace, mantel, upgrading plumbing and hot water tank (through a subcontractor) and finishing (sanding, priming and painting).
On top of all of that - he was extremely helpful in the planning process, giving knowledgeable advice on decisions that came up throughout, including anything from plumbing fixtures, finishing materials, paint, floor, colours and others.
Craig showed up everyday during the project as needed until it was complete. Although started a bit behind schedule (due to complications on a previous job), this was forgiven due to the benefits of having great work done.
Other than a great contractor - Craig is personable with family and pets. He took his time explaining and conversing with my father in law, which is worth mentioning.
Thanks Craig!
I have an early 1970s bi-level with 1 1/2 bathrooms. The downstairs sink and toilet was cornered in a small area without much wiggle room. Also there was terrible rot under the floor. With a surprisingly modest quote Craig was able to borrow room from an adjacent bedroom to install a beautiful shower stall. I now have 2 bathrooms and I am very happy.
Carpentry, electrical and plumbing was all handled without subcontracting.

Craig was great! Always friendly, on time and professional. The work was completed for what was quoted and he made the whole process as easy on us as possible. Would definitely use Lighthouse again for any home project.
Craig renovated two smallish bathrooms for me, in an older house that presented some complications. I had a good idea of what I wanted and Craig executed the plans. I was very pleased with the quality of his work, which was done in a reasonable time for a reasonable price. He was good at explaining the complications that occurred and his proposed solutions to deal with them. He's a hard worker, and I'd have no hesitation about hiring him again for other projects.
We are very happy we hired Lighthouse Renovations to finish our basement. Craig's work involved developing a bedroom, full bathroom and family room, as well as closing off storage areas. The work was completed on time and to our full satisfaction. Craig gave great recommendations on what products to use and suggestions on how to maximize our space. His experience and expertise were evident as he completed the work. We were happy with his communication and cleanliness, as well as his personable and approachable demeanor. We definitely recommend Craig and will be using him again in the future.
Work included removal and replacement of tub, faucet, shower, wall tile, flooring, baseboards, and finally painting of remaining walls and ceiling. All material was chosen and supplied by the contractor, and the work was carried out on a timely basis. The price paid for the job was exactly as quoted - there were no added extra charges. I have no complaints whatsoever about material choices or workmanship. A job well done, and I would certainly recommend Lighthouse Renovations as a good choice for people who have similar type projects.
Craig renovated our basement. The work included framing and wiring the entire basement, adding a full bathroom and a bedroom. The work was completed on time, on budget and to our full satisfaction. Craig provided great communication and left the work area clean after each work day and at then end of the project. I would recommend Lighthouse Renovations to anyone considering a basement renovation, and I would definitely hire Craig to work on other projects at our house.
We love the work Craig did! He had excellent ideas on how to maximize our space and he chose colours very well for the paint and vinyl plank flooring. His workmanship is top notch! We definitely recommend him and will use him when we renovate some of the upstairs.
We had a bathroom renovation that Craig from Lighthouse did for us and were pleased with the work. Craig would point out things we did not see and helped correct some existing issues with duct work that was performed ad-hoc. Work was done one time, on budget and everything was kept cleaned and material disposed of. Would go back to Lighthouse again for any future work.
Thanks
