We contracted Lisandro to finish our nearly 1300sqft bungalow basement, starting in the second half of 2021 and finishing in early 2022.

Lisandro clearly loved what he did, and he's great at it. He managed and built the entire project, subcontracting for plumbing and electrical. The project involved two guest rooms, a bathroom with tile shower, a library space with custom-built bookshelves and a reading nook, and an open entertainment space.

He frequently synced up with us as the project went on, suggesting improvements or asking clarifying questions to make sure we had a space we would love. His craftmanship is top tier and he obviously cares about quality work. We could not be more satisfied with the job he did.

The single issue we had was that the project took longer than initially estimated, but I believe this was due to factors outside of Lisandro's control, and for the quality of work, we were happy to wait a bit longer to have an amazing space.

My husband and I had a "professional" come in to tape, mud and sand our new drywall. This so called "professional" did a terrible job and left us with a job half done and a mess to pick up! Reluctantly, we had to find another person to help fix this disastrous mess! Thankfully, I went online and used TRUSTED PROS and found Lisandro. He was professional, punctual, incredibly knowledgeable but more importantly, he FIXED our drywall and the job was done meticulously! We are SO happy to have selected Lisandro... What can I say about Lisandro except that he’s LITERALLY the best contractor ever! Every year, we get blessed with our basement pipes leaking (in a different spot each time too, classic). The water leaks down onto our back-split basement ceiling and makes it sopping wet. For three years in a row, we’ve had Lisandro come after the plumber chops a giant hole out of the ceiling and we’ve had him mud/tape it so it looks brand new again. Lisandro, unlike many contractors, actually has respect for my home and does an amazing job keeping the drywall dust to a minimum/keeping everything clean. He is meticulous with his craft and does a phenomenal job. I would recommend him to anyone and we will always have him back. Also, he tells awesome ghost stories.

Our cedar deck was almost 30 years old and looked pretty shabby. We decided that maybe composite was the way to go.

Lisando impressed us from the minute we met. He was very knowledgable, polite and precise. He discussed our needs, and made suggestions where required. When doing the work, he was meticulous, and had very high standards. Even our neighbours commented on his work habits (all good).

The finished product exceeded our expectations, and we were extremely happy with our new composite deck.

We have recently completed a total kitchen renovation and have been very pleased to have Lisandro/ L.P. Donan Construction work on our project.

We have hired Lisandro based on his excellent reviews and indeed he deserves the highest marks. He is highly skilled and detail oriented and did an excellent job on our kitchen (have to admit, we are picky customers).

The work has been completed as per schedule and budget agreed. We greatly appreciated the fact that he has been flexible and accommodated us when we had a month delay caused by the company providing kitchen cabinets. We also liked that Lisandro would take time and answer all our questions and give us all explanation we ask for regarding the work he was doing for us.

We would definitely hire Lisandro for other future projects and would recommend L.P. Donan Construction to anyone who appreciate excellent quality at a reasonable price.

Lisandro Donan helped my parents refit an upstair laundry room and he rocked it! He is totally professional, really knows what he is doing, and very friendly. He went over and above what was needed and was highly reliable. I give him a 5/5 rating and highly recommend him!

Lisandro did a great job with our ceilings and drywall taping. Very typical contractor response times when initially trying to reach out to him. (very slow.) I'd easily recommend him for any sort of general contracting. Just keep in mind that while Lisandro's communication is very clear, he is near impossible to reach.

5 Stars because he did everything we needed done, in the timelines we needed and the budget we wanted.

Lisandro sets high standards for himself. He is a respectful and clear communicator! Every aspect of the project revealed his meticulous attention to detail, his pride of workmanship and his ability to make necessary adjustments in a timely fashion.

We were so confident that Lisandro was more than equal to the job that we packed our bags, handed him the key and went on vacation for several weeks. A trustworthy and honourable man does not need to be supervised but he should be praised for inspiring such well deserved confidence. We can’t speak highly enough about Lisandro! His workmanship and meticulous attention to details was evident from the very beginning - from the detailed contract he gave us to sign to the smallest attention given to every nuance of our renovation. Lisandro was courteous and respectful of us and our home, and made sure that at the end of each workday he left it as clean as it was at the start of the day (which says a lot during messy renovations!). We are so glad that a friend recommended him to us and look forward to having him work on more projects for us in the future!

Lissandro does excellent work. He started on time, stayed within costs. When we added work we did it cost-plus, and even that work came in very reasonably. I would absolutely recommend Lissandro for your home renovation project.
