Horrible company, left garbage everywhere.

Sharp screws that I had to fix and clean up after multiple complaints to them.

Do not hire these guys!

Worst company I ever hired, wish I could go back in time, not even one year old the grade is messed up, the fence is warping.

They have no idea what they are doing.

They came out, didn't measure correct, brought a toddler to the site. Left behind materials on the city sidewalk and street for weeks after the job having bylaw stopping by few times, they were to come back to fix my fence that now didn't close cause there work.. never did and only had a million excuses. Didn't buy the proper rock then the sales guy had the audacity to yell at me, making me cry saying how wrong i was about the rock and process. infront of his staff who then he called right after to tell them to go get the proper rock. Which still wasn't right. Forman told me they are lucky if they get paid on time. They would either show for work or not show and the owner Lyndi would down talk her employees to me the customer. Then after all said and done. They sent me a new invoice/quote. After paying more than 3/4 of the bill throughout each step, I asked for a break down of the New charges many many times and could never get a straight answer. Through the process i was told by the sales guy he is too busy doing quotes to help me, emails and calls would not be returned. Did i mention the job honestly was such an easy job for a company, but it literally looks like so bad. Just sharing my experience.

They had tons of honest bad reviews on fb but they seem to have deleted them all.

Just wanted to share our experience with Lyco last year.

We told Tim the sales manager that we were not 100% sure on what we wanted and he REASSURED us multiple times that the quote was fluid up until the time the product needed to be ordered. He did not give us any advice on planning. We did change the plan a few times, like the size of a path and specific materials. Meanwhile we had to change the actual quote a few times due to HIS mistakes. He no showed two appointments with us, as well as showed up a few DAYS early for an appointment, on Canada day. He wasted a lot of our time and money. His quotes are an absolute mess, duplicate charges, multiple corrections needed to be made on his end, in which case he would get upset with us for mentioning. He insisted that we needed the grading done since the water pooling was so bad, and then went back to say that he wasn’t doing it at all when asked.

The way he treated my mother was absolutely unacceptable. I don’t believe Tim should be in a customer service position. He threatened to change the pricing to a higher price yelling “how would you like that???” after she asked him about a possible duplicate delivery charge. He mentioned that no one has ever asked any of the things that she has asked him throughout this process. He clearly stated that he would like to wash his hands of this deal and that it would be “like it never happened”, verbally confirming twice that she would get her full deposit back. He cancelled the job, and we still did not receive the full deposit back. The owner of the company made plenty of excuses for his abusive behavior as well.

I hired Lyco last year to landscape my back yard. They kept pushing the work back because they were busy, and by the time they got to me it was snowing. They couldn’t finish the project due to the ground freezing, and promised they’d be back in the spring as soon as it thawed to complete the work. I stupidly paid in full, trusting Cory would be good to his word. It is now nearly one year (11.5 months) since the original project, and they still haven’t completed it. One of my trees is off center and the other two died in the spring because they were planted so late in the year. They didn’t finish my edging around my rock bed. They missed half my stepping stones, and I agreed to pay for them as part of the following year’s project and they have not done them yet either. They also built my steps against code and quoted me nearly the same amount to rebuild them if I wanted them fixed. I added a retaining wall to the project and they billed me in advance (Aug) saying they needed the money to order materials so they could do the work the following week. It has been 7.5 weeks since I paid $2871 for materials, and they still haven’t showed up for the new work either. They have been dodging my calls and ignoring my text messages for over two weeks. When I had an appointment scheduled for the walk through prior to material ordering, Lyndi cancelled the first time, no showed the second, and was late the third. I have not heard from her or been able to get a hold of her since.

Owner was really competent and built an amazing deck. He even went through the trouble of repairing issues with the ledger board and leveling aspects from the home builder. Deck was built to last with additions of joist tape, piling cap modifications, and proper footing construction on both the stairs and dog ramp. Very receptive to additions I had throughout the project. Even made visits after construction to review and repair any settlement concerns, which were minimal. VERY WELL DONE, if you want a quality product, call LYCO.

Had the pleasure of meeting Cory today in a Timmy’s parking lot. I drove in to help my daughter that had just had a fender bender and called me saying her bumper was hanging off her car. Cory saw that she clearly needed help and proceeded to remove the bumper in order for her to drive her car home. He was very friendly and jumped into action. He knew what he was doing and I felt instant trust of this stranger helping my daughter. I am grateful he happen to be there at the right time. I would not hesitate to hire him for any kind of work. Thank you sooo much Cory for helping a “damsel in distress” It was much appreciated!

After completing some yard work I had a driveway full of dirt, sod and other debris. After struggling to find someone to remove this dirt for me, I was introduced to Lyco at Classic Landscape. They over heard my issue and offered me an estimate.

The estimate was 1/2 of what my previous quote was and they said they could squeeze me into their busy schedule within a few days.

I came home from work and the driveway was free of debris and pressure washed.

The final cost was a bit more than the estimate as the amount of dirt proved to be more than thought. Well worth it as I was not interested in doing it myself.

I also learned that Lyco builds ponds, maybe my next years project.

These guys are doing a great job at our condo. Lawn is greening up for the first time in a few years.

I availed the snow removal service during the winter and the spring cleanup in May. I liked the quality of services offered and the way it was delivered in a timely fashion. The services offered and the price were clearly explained. The services met my expectation with respect to quality and time.
