I hired My Pro Handy/Donovan in September after doing extensive research and vetting to find a suitable contractor to renovate two bathrooms in my condo.
Donovan seemed genuine at first, answered all my questions and was contracted to have my 2 bathrooms finished in 4 weeks. He showed up the first few weeks and delay after delay kept happening (all of which were his fault). It got to a point where the project was delayed so much by his mistakes that he abandoned the job less than halfway through. He was in total violation of his contract. He is exceptionally unprofessional and should not be in the construction industry.
His workmanship was TERRIBLE! when they demoed my first bathroom they dented the wall which stuck out in my main foyer, they also messed all the dry wall work up as its very uneven, when they demoed the second bathroom I was keeping my existing tub and they cracked it! They tried to cover it with cardboard so I wouldn't see it. The next day they left and never came back and took all my MONEY with them.
I specifically told them not to start demoing the second bathroom until the first one was complete. I work from home and they left me without a complete washroom!!
They also started dumping drywall plaster and paint down my drain on my patio terrace. See pictures attached of how they left my home in a complete mess.
Do not contract with this company. they breach contracts, they have poor quality work, messy, unprofessional.
Stay far away from this company it was a nightmare experience!!! be warned!!!

| Warranty | MyProhandy Inc. will repair, free of charge, defects in workmanship performed under a Bid Proposal (Proposal) for one year (365) days. Warranty is for labor only, and does not apply to materials or material failure, manufacturers recommended use or customer negligence, normal wear and tear, or a change in the Customer’s mind. Warranty becomes effective when complete payment has been credited to MyProhandy Inc. account. Warranty work does not extend the original warranty period. Incomplete payment or separate payment made to the craftsman, for any reason, voids the warranty. MyProhandy Inc. has the right to refund a portion of the cost in lieu of work completion or warranty work. Warranty work is to be performed by the original craftsman, if available. If the Customer or Customer’s contractor modifies work performed by MyProhandy Inc. in any way, the warranty is void. Neither the warranty nor the Proposal is transferable. All claims must be accompanied by original contract. |
