Hi Jeff, I finally have a few minutes to sit at my computer and answer your email.
I was very happy you as a consultant. You dressed professionally, you smiled and held eye contact while you were talking with me. I liked that you took personal pieces of information from our conversation that was not related to the basement and used it back in conversation. It showed me that you were actually listening to me and you took an interest in me as a person and not just someone that needed basement work done. You explained the process to me in a way that I understood and I didn't feel overwhelmed. You were enthusiastic and spoke confidently about RCC. It was a pleasure to meet you.
As for the installers that came and did the work, they were friendly, polite and able to answer my questions. They worked well together, working steady and efficiently. They cleaned up well when finished.
Over all, I was very satisfied! It eases my mind to know that the work is complete and I can only hope this solves my basement leaking problems.
I do have one fault, and don't worry, it's not a big one, but I was hoping for some kind of feed back on the remaining weeping tile and the condition of it to know if I need to start saving money for next year to continue with the rest of the house. Your company did the driveway side of my house and 8 feet at the front and the back. You joined up the weeping tile with my remaining weeping tile. I didn't find out if what was dug up was filled with dirt and that was the reason for all my basement leaking and if what remains around the other side of my house is clogged with dirt as well.
Thank you again for a job well done,
Shelley Jones
I was very pleased with RCC Waterproofing. They did a great job. The job was done quickly and efficiently. RCC was highly recommended to me and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Job very well done! Thank you!
We discovered water damage in our basement and found the source to be cracks in the foundation cement wall. We found RCC Waterproofing's ad in one of the mail flyers and a friend also recommended them. In one day, with little disruption, RCC workers dug up the area by the outside wall, sealed the cracks and put everything back together....no leaks since. They were very professional and I'd certainly use them again.
Jeff Martin was amazing! I had estimates done by 3 different companies and RCC was the only one that took time to explain in great detail the process and why I needed to have this done.
He not only has great customer service skills but the knowledge of the product he sells. He promptly returned any messages that I left with concerns or questions.
The staff that came in to do the weeping tiles were great as well.
Thanks again Jeff and you are great at what you do!
RCC is the best and would recommend them to anyone.

Hi Jeffery,
First, thank you for the follow up. It is nice to know some companies stand behind their work.
As a consultant, we found you (Jeffery) to be very informative and helpful. There were other issues caused by the leaking basement that also needed to get done or fixed (disconnect and move the central air conditioner, remove down spouts from the ground, mould removed from basement, clean air ducts once work completed, etc.). You (Jeffery) offered other contractors names to help get the work done, as well as cost efficient. Your honesty and helpfulness were the reason we went with RCC.
The issue we had was getting an installation date. The estimated date for the work to be done was delayed by a few weeks due to scheduling and weather. We weren't sure if the work would be completed before the cold and frost made it impossible to get the work done before winter. We were given several estimated start dates before the installers actually arrived. My mother was getting upset with all the delays and may not get the work done in time but had been paid for. Once the installers arrived the work was completed in a timely manner. There were a few minor mishaps, broken patio stones, extensions not put on downspouts but these were corrected.
Overall I would recommend RCC to friends and family.
We live in an almost 100 year old home and over the last several years, the age of the foundation (and foundation building methods of the time) were beginning to show their age. There were areas where the foundation was crumbling and needed significant rehabilitation. The work required was sufficient enough for an engineer to come, inspect and make recommendations. RCC's team rebuilt the one foundation wall on one side of the house following the engineers specs. In addition, at the same time, I had the perimeter of the house water proofed (although I didn't need it as I didn't have any water issues, I took the opportunity to have it done as a preventative measure anyway while the foundation was being dug up).
RCC's sales rep, Rick, was friendly, courteous, and professional throughout every step. RCC's different crews (depending on the work being done) were professional, efficient and clean. The main crew, Raymond and the boys were thorough and accommodating to the couple of small requests or adjustments made through the process as they became evident. Although during the process, my house was a major construction site, in the end, they cleaned up very well and almost looked liked they hadn't been there at all.
It was a big job and I had one of their bigger competitors come to give me a quote (I won't mention who there were but but they operate city wide). The sales rep, son of the owner failed to come twice. Each time aas more than an hour overdue for each appointment before I called him to follow up, and each time made anew appointment. On the third attempt he showed up, gathered the job info and then failed to get back to me in the 2-3 days promised. In fact, failed to get back to me at all. . . so I went with RCC. Had I gone with the other, who knows if they would have stopped work and probably not come back to finish - definitely untrustworthy from the start for such a major job! NO issues in the pre-stages with Rick of RCC and throughout with Raymond and his colleagues.
I have absolutely no issues recommending RCC.
Hi Jeff,
The consultation process was positive. We had installation issues for doing the job from the inside or outside. With discussion, it was determined that outside waterproofing would be the preferred option. I feel that Jeff did his utmost to keep the project cost within our budget. I realize Jeff is very busy consulting, but I still was kind of expecting a follow up visit to ensure the work was satisfactory, which it was.
The installers worked a full day and then some to finish the job. Boards were put down over the driveway and lawn to protect areas from machinery and excavation fill. They were professional, courteous and careful not to cause any collateral damage.
Overall, a necessary but pleasant experience with minimal disruption to our home life. In retrospect, outside waterproofing was the right choice, as during excavation large tree roots (from tree cut down years ago) was found up against and cracking the foundation wall. The installation crew spent extra time removing roots and patching cracks. The guys swept and cleaned up at the end of the job.
Jeff may have mentioned it, but I don't recall that our two existing downspouts could not be connected to the new 4" drain hose due to City regulations. They were directed away from the house which was no problem.
I would not hesitate in recommending RCC external waterproofing. Everyone was friendly to deal with. Liked the transferable warranty for 25 yrs.
Regards......Alan
I was happy with the courteous nature of Jeffrey Martin the salesman, he got back to
me on questions, sometimes it was delayed but eventually he responded well. Nick the scheduler was very efficient as well. The gentlemen that worked on the foundation had extremely hot weather to deal with during the repair work, they had to work during a heat wave so I can understand to a point where they left some of there debris (water bottles, cigarette butts on sight) Some of the job I felt was incomplete since it wasn't evenly done around some of the sections we agreed to in the contract..hopefully the job was done correctly and we will have no future problems. The one worker hit a tree going around the end corner and damaged it, but it may survive we will see in the Spring. I know they work hard and try to do the best they can under the circumstances ~weather conditions, access to the area in various properties and dealing with equipment etc. They were polite and courteous and hopefully the work is a reflection of that as well with such a costly expenditure when doing foundations. RCC office staff were very nice and responded to my questions with respect and promptness as well.
The crew at RCC Waterproofing were great. Starting with Jaime and right through to the team. They gave me me great idea of how much the job would cost and approximate timeline for completion. Even when the project slowed, Jaime explained the reason and updated me regularly. Thank you guys

By exposing the foundation walls and using the necessary waterproofing material to create a foundation waterproofing system that will direct and disperse water away from your foundation walls and away from your home, exterior waterproofing fixes your leaky basement from the outside.
Because the earth, which is primarily clay, is continually expanding and contracting, the basement wall is put under a lot of pressure, which leads to horizontal fissures. Some walls, particularly those built on blocks, have a tendency to bow.
